Why Does Sandbox is private?

I think Sandboxes being private is because it's common for people to make fun of other's people's draft before finished and some people working on them can often feel unmotivated. I have seen plenty of times where drafts were shat on and some otherwise really helpful and good users didn't want to contribute further because someone shared their private draft without permission and some offsite trolls trashed all over it.
But if you want to share sandbox with friends, you could do so in private message feature onsite or copy/paste the code.
