Profile Deletion Requests Thread (New forum)

I agree about that, but I think that Pre-Crisis Superman has a statistics key that is scaled from it, so his page would need to be updated as well.

As far as I can tell the supposed AP and speed feats don't exist alongside whatever gives her fire manipulation which would also make the range false
Power also missing various powers so in general it's rather poor quality

I'll delete and remove the link from the verse page myself, I just want to make sure it's fine to delete
 
Hey, look, I'm helping with the Tab2 Replacement Project, yay!

I would like to request the deletion of The Overlook Hotel, as the only thing it has going for it is, well, being a possibly animate hotel. Maybe.

The statistics are either super vague or super basic, and if this was to be reworked as a potential Location profile, then it would be fine to do so. As it stands, though, it is poorly constructed as a Character profile, and it should be deleted.

I do have similar feelings for the original Overlook Hotel, but at least this one has better justifications for its stats, though it would still probably be better off as a Location profile.

I have no issues with it being deleted based on that.
 
I also don't think that there seems to be any need to delete those pages.

What are you upset about Goji? Perhaps we can talk about it?
 
I am upset because my last profile ever was just deleted without ceremony or any notice given to me whatsoever. Not to mention the reasoning is garbage and Starter has admitted to not even have seen the source material let alone research it and find the evidence for its abilities as I have. But alas I'm through. Is there no way those profiles can be deleted? If not I'll just take my bans and be on my way.

Well, maybe we could undelete the Overlook Hotel page, if it does not cause any harm?
 
Goji's overreacting abit, but I think as a reference for future deletions, maybe its best to tag the page creator when the page is deleted.

@GojiBoyForever idk what's the big issue mate, if you want I can help you remake the page? I like the Shining fine, can whip up a good draft fer you to post :y
 
Yes, that might be a good solution for future deletions.

I'm sure we all know that there's nothing personal about suggesting profiles be deleted here, and that just because a person creates a profile doesn't mean it can't be reviewed later and deleted if it doesn't match site standards.

There's no reason at all to overreact and demand a bunch of other pages be deleted, along with a perma-ban.
 
Goji, for what it's worth, I'm sorry for not letting you know about the page being deleted. As I said, it didn't seem like that big of a deal to delete, and it seemed very barebones at the end of the day.

If there is legitimate reason that you believe the profile should be restored, like Ant said, I'm sure Impress would be more than willing to help out. I personally would try and make amends, but as you pointed out, I have never seen The Shining myself, so I don't feel could help in the slightest.

Again, I am quite sorry for this. Is there any possible way you could see reason here?

It's ok. I don't mind much anymore, water under the bridge.

However I am still set on being banned.
 
If you feel very bad in general, isolating yourself from your friends here seems like a bad idea.
 
I'm sorry to see someone with over 5,000 messages on here go like that. It seems very sudden.

Mind if we wait a day to see how you're feeling about it tomorrow? I don't want to rush into banning you because of just this incident where no harm or offense was intended.

You're a nice guy... but don't let you lose you stability cause a page of yours got deleted

I've been for worthy eight years and some pages of mine were deleted too, but I remade them better some time later. Also, as an advice I always make a blog first for my pages, so if they're somehow deleted I can still have all my work saved in a blog.
 
Yes, no problem. Just try to stay calm in situations like this. They can usually be worked out.

So should we restore the page so @The_Impress can help you with it then?
