light speed attacks

hypothetically, if an attack revolved around it being able to ignore reaction speed due to it being faster than light, and therefore unable to be seen and reacted to, would characters with speed of light reactions not be affected by that concept? it's just a weird thing that I though of that I think is worth mentioning

This seens very weird and specific , but if the attack can't be seen or reacted only because it is faster than light anyone ftl should be able to perceive and react just fine

wouldn't it be some kind of...extra sense they have then?

Being faster than light is already scientifically impossible, so traditional logic doesn't apply.
People who move faster than light can typically still see while doing so. The fact that this doesn't make sense doesn't matter.
