Also he said "if the energy of the other universes" so this is not even truly multiversal, he basically said he could absorb 3-A energy multiple times above baseline.

That strongest alien x video was a mistake as it spawned so much misconceptions about how the system in Vsbw works

Yeah, 90% of the time, authors really don't care about how strong their character is in terms of the rest of fiction. And, if they do, it's unreasonable to assume they'd know about how scaling is handled on a niche wiki like ours. They're just trying to tell a story.

And even if we ignore that even then this statement doesn't change anything feedback is already rated low 2c maybe an argument for 2c can be made at best anyway I am pretty sure the wiki doesn't take twitter statements into account so even that is not possible so yeah this should be closed

While I don’t really think this is valid, I would say if you wanna be generous that the statement of “same set of physical laws” probably just means that the Universe needs to be similar to the one of ours/Ben 10 for it to work, if I recall Ben 10 does deal with stuff like timeline erasure anyway

Yeah no. This isn't flying. We've explained this time and time again but seemingly Ben 10 threads are the only ones where the answer needs to be repeated. A one off author statement thats answering a specifically formed leading question to extract information out of desperation is not acceptable on this site for an upgrade. In any way, shape or form.
Authors will almost never give serious answers like this to be taken legitimately, it is extremely rare and this does not fall under said case.

So, we already have the first and main issue there, the word ''Multiversal+'', this word is a Wiki term that it's used to characters that can destroy/affect/create an infinite number of timelines, the dude asked if Feedback could absorb Multiversal+ levels of energy, how the author is supposed to know that Multiversal+ means ''infinite number of timelines''? As the context of his answer shows, he was just talking about ''others universes'', not infinite amount of it, and maybe not even at once, because the author mentions ''As long as the energy of these others universes have bases in the same set of physical laws'', which seems that the author is just saying that Feedback can absorb the energy of others parallel universes, that's the main problem when people ask the authors about power scaling of their own verse to use in cross battle sites like VS Battle, the authors aren't VS debaters, I am sorry, but this CRT cannot be applied

At this point, seeing as its surprisingly common for people to try using random social media comments as a means for an upgrade, im shocked at this hasn't become a rule in our standards yet.
Or, is it already? Because I definitely know quite a lot of staff are on board against them.

Honestly the only comments i'd accept that could be uses for upgrades are stuff like asking what exactly happened on vague events or asking for common details such "the size of this spaceship" or "how much time passed"

Or Space case from Her Tears Were My Light, the Visual Novel shows that the characters are conceptual by nature, but it doesn't have Statements of it, but someone asked it to the author and he confirmed, these cases and the cases that you mentioned can be accepted, yeah

I'd wager a vast majority of authors simply don't care whether their characters are complex multiversal or universal+ or etc.
I'd also wager they don't know how the tiering system here works.
Most authors aren't even consistent with power. Power is something that's important to us, but is ultimately only a single part of a story.
Unless the author we're asking is a regular here their direct power statements should be taken lightly. It's our job to over-analyze feats, not the author's.

Asking and pestering writers for feats never shown in the source material is almost like cheating lmao.

Yeah, its not as if authors can never give serious answers. They ofc can. Its just that the likelihood of them doing it on a social media platform like twitter or instagram is...extremely close to 0. Very very few Authors use platforms like this to give a contextualized, detailed answer that can be taken seriously. Now, if its from an interview or anything like that, that is different, as its the fans job to ask and document the answer from the author. Or if social media is explicitly proven to be a platform used by the author dedicated to giving fans answers that the series itself doesn't or can't give, then you could try passing the evidence as something more. Otherwise, it goes nowhere almost every single time.
Authors most of the time just give answers specific fans want to hear to "throw them a bone" and get them to shut up basically, so they won't hassle them about it anymore.

I'll just post said rules as well to save you time.
* Regarding direct information from the author/creator of a character: We do not use statements from them that are phrased in an uncertain, uncaring, and/or unspecific manner, such as "Could be", "Maybe", "Probably", "Possibly" etcetera. Brief or vague answers to fan-questions via social media are also generally disregarded, whereas more elaborate explanations in serious interviews are usually considered more reliable.
* When a statement from a character, guidebook, or even word of god contradicts what occurs in the series, they won't be used. For example, if an author says that a character from his work is incapable of shattering planets, even though it has destroyed galaxies on-screen, we will always go with the latter, rather than the former. The statement need to be consistent with what has been revealed within the fictional franchise itself. Otherwise, it will be considered invalid.
* Author statements will only be accepted when they clarify what has been shown or implied in the series itself, and will be rejected when they contradict what has been shown to the audience. Statements that technically do not contradict anything shown in the series will still be rejected if there is no evidence that they are accurate.
You'll not only need to prove the author is reliable and consistent when regarding their work, you also need to prove it's consistent and backed up in the work itself. Also I'm pretty sure the Ben 10 Multiverse isn't infinite? So even if said author knew what multiversal+ was, it wouldn't be applicable because the ben 10 multiverse is already established as a 2-B multiverse
