Luffy vs Madara Uchiha

I was meaning like wano, whole cake, dressrosa?

It matters a lot as all those Luffys have different hacks/abilities

I think whole cake is fair, since with the king's haki attacks of wano he can pass out an enemy with just one attack, yes?

Well that would scale to 6-B so he’d one shot Madera. But whole cake is still more fair.

I think Luffy takes this. Future sight would give him the advantage in h2h and give him heads up if Madera uses something like genjustu. While having more mobility with gear 4th.

Luffy is a very smart combatant. He saw the future for a glimpse against Mihawk and found a way to avoid getting his arms chopped off.

He would be able to see into the future multiple seconds ahead. He should be able to determine what happened and know to close his eyes.

He could use the haki to continue the fight (assuming he can actually predict Genjutsu), but that would put him at a disadvantage, wouldn't it? To see the future he needs to be calm, in a fight with his eyes closed I imagine he would be at a certain disadvantage

Actually it would help him focus. His observation haki is good enough to passively sense Madera and not be at a disadvantage.

Proof luffy is more than capable of fighting with his eyes closed

Hm, it seems that until then luffy has an advantage, or is equal since both could easily deflect, luffy with his prediction and madara with his sharingan, but I think it can change if he uses a clone or something, I will wait for more people

Taijustsu would be negated by Luffys rubber body since he has resistance to blunt force. Also most of his elemental jutsu’s would also get resisted due to his Buso Haki.

Madera would be at a serious disadvantage in h2h since Luffys observation haki is far better than a sharingan. As one gives a person precognition and another gives precognition, future sight as well as a boat load of other stuff.

Those links will give you the stuff haki resists

How in character is it for this Madara to use genjutsu? Only time I remember him doing so was to control Kurama.

Other time was edo Madera fighting fodder.
It’s pretty out of character.
And Luffy would be able to sense it/ See it coming and fight with his eyes closed

Well, given Kurama and his susanoo are both restricted which are his go to moves in this key, I'd just say he would go for the most effective way to win.

Madara's susanoo and Kurama are restricted. So his moves here are fire style, genjutsu, and hand-to-hand combat. Even if he doesn't start with genjutsu right off the bat, he will use it eventually. Having future sight doesn't help you escape genjutsu.

I'm pretty sure his normal Susano'o or at least the skeletal one doesn't get him out of High 7-A, so it can't be restricted.

Yeah, his lower Susano'o forms are just higher into High 7-A.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Madara has an AP advantage here (even more so if lower Susano'o stages are allowed), which would make this more competitive.

Luffy IS resistant to blunt force, but he's not really resistant against sharp weaponry, which Madara is no stranger to. He uses scythes, blades, and ofc his Susano'o has swords as well. So Madara should still be able to harm him with his weapons and Susano'o.

Genjutsu is in character for Madara. He used it twice in combat as an Edo, and it's not like he became a different person after his revival. His tactics would remain the same. Also, Onoki literally warned people not to look into his eyes due to genjutsu (which he DID use lol), so it's clearly a common tactic that he's known for.
Also Madara isn't dumb, if he sees that his Katons and physical blows aren't doing much damage, he'll start considering other more viable options.

I'm not voting yet, but I wanted to get these out of the way.

Madara GG,
AP advantage, large skill set, genjutsu e.t.c.

@joshpiece what haki resist is other DF not elemental abilities
Just need to clear that up.

Yes it resists other DF, not elementals in general its not hard to comprehend there is no proof or whatsoever and even the link you sent there is no proof of such also,

I won't derail since I've already debunked this in the other thread.

Anyways, genjutsu gg.

Stop putting ocular genjutsu users against those w/out resistance
