Yes, speed needs to be equalized, the Hunter isnt fighting a FTL character without equal speed

I think childhood beginnings hunter can't really fight.

Childhood Beginnings Hunter is the one that fought the Moon Presence, a Pseudo Great One before he became the baby

I might go with The Hunter, he has a few extra things like Poison Knives, Healing and he can resurrect himself (I don't know if this is valid for fights tho) and Blood Manipulation.

If it's Childhood Beginnings Hunter he will be completely invisible to Akuma's eyes if I'm reading his profile right, he has Mind Manipulation (Akuma doesn't have resistance to that from what I see on his page), Curse Manipulation (tho I don't know the type of Curses he has. He has possibile Reality Warping but like his curse manipulation I don't know if it's combat oriented.

Akuma has that soul attack thing but that's it as BFR is gone. Not saying Akuma has nothing, he's still a good fighter and got the chi but I don't think it's enough.

Note: this is just me looking at their pages and I likely missed something important.

I'll go with the Hunter for Griffin's reasons then, seems to have him beat in versatility by a long shot.

I go with Griffins reasoning and vote fur Hunter, I just do not think Akuma would be able to hit the Hunter, seeing as his primary talent is, well, dodging far more powrful foes.
