Going by Guinness books is extremely flawed, as typically they don't count feats from games and more of hyperbolic statements.

Well technically speaking, Sonic has feats like that in comics, and he is a game character, so if they counted that he'd be faster, but then we got characters that are infinite, immeasurable or straight up faster so even than nah.

just because he hasn't demonstrated alot of incredible speed feats doesn't mean he isn't the fastest.

Warping reality with speed isnt a speed feat, and Sonic isnt even close to being the fastest game character.

If I made a officialy licensed game, explicitly stated that my character was the fastest and was faster than Sonic but his best feat was only mach 10 would mine still be the fastest even though I explicitly saud he was, including sonic?

It doesnt matter if he was STATED to be the fastest, if he doesnt have feats or proof to back it up then its not legitimate. I can think of a ton of game characters with better speed feats than traveling through time via speed.
