Both have intangible beings that can easily tear apart people, so why not match?

Rules: They are in their 8-C forms. Jotaro can see Lucy's vectors as well Lucy can see SP. No ZA WARUDO or any ORAblitz for Jotaro so speed is equal. Both start 10 meters from each other.

JoJo : 1 (Sir) Lucy: 7'(Kaltias, Laciel, JSW, Paladin, Grudge, sin, Chris)

Kinda. SP is too strong and Lucy's vectors are intangible. So if they can't block each other they charge and kill each other immediately

Inclined to go for Lucy here. With her vectors she has a larger attack rate (i.e. can throw more objects at him and stab/slash with more vectors) and more angles of attack, which is a large advantage in a speed equalised match. Plus, Jotaro would probably just use SP to get close and punch, while Lucy would happily surround him with vectors, drive them into his body and rip him limb from limb, ignoring durability due to attacking interally and the "telefrag" nature of her vectors. Or do the same thing with Star Platinum, which would then kill Jotaro. And that is completely incharacter, while I don't know if Jotaro has ever used SP's intangibility to ignore someone's durability and attack their internal organs.

Selective intangibility means that only SP can become intangible or only parts of it?

Now that I think about it, if Jotaro notice that Lucy is surrounding him with the other 2 vectors, he'll probably call SP back, and at this point Lucy can simply overhelm with attacks. So l vote Lucy

Still going with Lucy. Even if SP would need just a split second to take care of the vectors, this split second give her the opening that she needs to kill Jotaro

SP literally protects Jotaro against his own will. The dude shot himself with a bullet and SP caught it. If Lucy is going to use vectors all around him, SP will punch them all. He can also touch the vectors as verse equalisation means that both intangible beings can touch each other. Furthermore, Jotaro is a JoJo, and all JoJos are known for their strategic planning, which Jotaro is very much going to use for this fight. Hell, he could even use SP's star finger to jab Lucy's heart when she's not aware and end her.

All in all, my vote goes to the manly man.

Speed is equal, so SP can't block four attacks coming from different directions at once

SP blocked The World's Muda Muda barrage. The World had the same speed as SP (Even same type Stand). So I don't think speed equal will be a problem for SP.

Edit: Also you're forgetting SP's AP advantage.

The World attacks from 2 points (with the fists) Lucy has 4, and she has much more options to attack, because each vector can arrive from a different direction, while the punches from The World can't

In the SP vs TW fight, DIO stopped time and threw knives at Jotaro from all directions. SP promptly punched them from all directions. You have to understand, Stands are intangible, they can come out from any part of the user's body (Even from behind them).

To add to that, SP's AP advantage would make it even easier to get all 4 vectors as punching one would immidiately destroy it. Thus, SP can destroy one and move on to the next with relative ease.

I'm fairly sure that she can remake the vectors. They are a projection of her mind iirc. And unless all of those knives were going at MFTL speed, stopping them doesn't really means much

Edit: Not to mention, Lucy has a good range advantage

Point still stands about SP being able to attack from all directions. SP doesn't even need to extend far from Jotaro to attack Lucy. He can just walk over to her wilst destroying her vectors and pummel her when he gets close.

Plus, SP can destroy Lucy's vectors if they go inside Jotaro, as seen when SP stopped and restarted Jotaro's heart by grabbing it from inside him.

I'd like to mention that Stands can touch intangible beings, so intangibility isn't really a factor here

If he can parry attacks from all directions, I suppose that Jotaro could win this if this turns into a battle of attrition, due to Lucy's poor stamina when she has long horns. Not completely sure though

How exactly can he parry from all directions simultaneouly? Did multiple limbs appear at once and each hit the knives away or was he just moving really quickly to deflect the knives?

@Sir Ovens.

Vote counted.

@JSW.

Do you have a vote?

@Kaltias.

Do you think to switch?

@JSW Alirght, thanks

@Sir Ovens Speed is equalised here, so in that case even if SP can block the vectors coming from in front and probably the left or the right side (not both), he can't move fast enough to block the ones from behind because in the time it takes for SP to move there, the vectors will have already travelled an equivalent distance and impaled or sliced up Jotaro

SP can appear from inside Jotaro, so even if a few vectors come from behind him, SP could just go through Jotaro's body and punch the vectors from inside him.

In the time it takes for SP to move towards those vectors, those vectors have already moved into Jotaro

SP is one being, with two fists. Two feet as well if he has showings of blocking things with his feet. SP simply cannot block dozens of vectors coming at Jotaro from all angles that are all moving just as fast as SP can

How many vectors can be used by long horns Lucy? 4 or more?

@Kalt

Star Platinum can't hit four at the same time?

Try nine.

I'm not making a vote yet, but saying he can't go more than two is pretty weird.
