Same tier characters being stronger than each other?

I was curious, because when it comes to characters of the same tiers they usually have inconclusive matches. So i was wondering if its allowed to be able to add victories or losses of characters of the same tier in terms of what they can do and their abilities etc etc. For Example, two 6-A characters were put against each other and people can figure and come to a conclusion on who would eventually come out on top.

I'm making sense right?!
 
Yes, if the victory is rational. Characters of the same tier can have vastly different speed, number of powers, etcetera, and also differ to a degree in terms of destructive capacity.
 
Of course.

The power difference between beings of the same tier can be pretty big, especially for the Tier 1 categories.

Goku and Beerus are both in the same tier, but Beerus is obviously much stronger.

This is even more true for Tier 1 categories. Two characters can be 9 dimensional, but one could still be vastly superior to the others, such as the Chaos Gods from WH40K.
 
Yes, not only can one person on a tier be vastly superior but also power isn't everything in a fight. A person with a ton of skill can defeat a person with a TON of power but no skill...like in Runescape how Zamorak defeated Zaros (due to his skill, not luck as WOG confirms) despite Zaros being far stronger even after he was stabbed by the siphon.
 
Although imo, in a conventional VS Battle...

Power>>Skill

Skill ain't gonna save you when your opposition is a full number grade above you and has superior stats.

Full number grade yeah...but the topic is about characters on the SAME TIER!
 
Alright alright take it easy. Just saying. I think skill is kinda overrated. But when it's the same tier, it serves use.
