Cross-Wiki Glitch?

Colonel Krukov and I are having an issue.

  • We can't comment on threads
  • Threads are missing comments (if a thread has 12 replies, when I click on the thread, it only shows like...the first two)
  • Chat is bugged, for awhile it was completely empty, as in not even myself was there (I couldn't see my name at the top above the day/night chat option).
  • Notifications only go back to the last hour.
This is not just on this wiki, the same happened on Community Central, JBW, and FC/OC

Is anyone else having these issues?
 
I believe EMC and FanofRPGs had this problem as well. That's spooky...
 
Happened on my personal wiki too. Every time I tried to edit an article it said the Database was bugged and the chat wouldn't be working.

Edit: Here was the full message.

Warning: The database has been locked for maintenance, so you will not be able to save your edits right now.

The administrator who locked it offered this explanation: Uh-oh! Our main datacenter is currently unavailable, so this is our backup. Unfortunately, this means you may not be able to do certain things like edit, upload, or chat. We are working to fix the problem, thank you for your patience! If you see this for an extended period of time, feel free to contact Fandom at [email protected].
 
Other issues that happened:

  • My avatar disappeared whenever I was on a certain page
  • Notifications in the drop down list are from ages ago, instead of recent ones
  • The latest comments, that appear in the recent wiki activity, are from ages ago and aren't the latest
 
Whoa... I didn't have the first two, but I covered the third in the OP. Recent activity was bugged too.
 
Colonel Krukov described what happened to me. Also, at some point I was the only one in the chat for some reason and I didn't even join it.
 
That's what happened to me too. Except the avi thing. I even couldn't log in on my laptop. It keep saying "We're sorry, but we cannot process your request at this time."
 
I had a a few somewhat perculiar things happen to me earlier today.

  • If I clicked on something, the notification wouldn't go away.
  • Difficulty for certain pages to load up
  • What I found most strange, was the "Kudos System" got out of whack. Comments that originally had 9 thumbs up temporatily had just 3, and ones with 5 got reduced to zero.
These issues have gone away however.
 
I think something in the database got set to a previous date or something, because I was getting notifications from highlighted threads that were a month old.
 
So no one had this problem on other wikis? Because I did. On JBW or FC/OC or Kanza, it would be the same, I couldn't even log in and when I finally did, I got notifications from months ago like Dark is saying. From several wikis at that.

  • FC/OC
  • Joke Battle
All had the problem
 
It happened again. For like 30 minutes. What the heck is going on? o_O

All the wikias had it, I checked the Yu-Gi-Oh wiki and it was down too, videogames wikia had it too
 
People in community central said that the Wikia was having technical difficulties

Everytime i tried to edit a page, there was an warning saying that the wikia is in read-mode only
 
Well, Wikia has had maintenance issues on other occasions as well, but they always managed to fix them after a few hours.
