Mario, Link, and the others are a certain tier, too.

This isn't the Kirby thread I previously announced, but this has to be said prior to that.

Donkey Kong punching a country-sized moon into a tower? High-end outlier.

"He defeats Fredrik, who uses the horn he froze Donkey Kong Island with in the battle, and the walrus not using the horn's full power with lower AOE against the ape doesn't make sense."

- Well, that's still what happens, as PIS for the villain, plot armor for the hero, or both.

- Seriously, the strong (for a Nintendo/HAL character) Donkey is injured after hitting his hand on that moon, yet in the same kind of cutscene, the weaker Diddy is uninjured after hitting his head on it.

This is just an example of "high-end feats" being actually low-end misinterpreted ones or high-end outliers; and on the other hand…

1) Mario

He suffers from a hand pain for the rest of each day he breaks blocks with his fist and Luigi from a headache for the rest of each day he breaks them with his head.

"The last two paragraphs just tell a joke."

The fourth one reads: "Unfortunately, his [Mario's] brother did not learn from his example."

2) Link

TP and SS Links' tunics feature chainmail and BotW Link wears clothes tougher than regular ones.

"Other Links don't need any kind of armor."

OoT Link actually does, so either the others do too or the hazards' levels in their games are decreased by artistic license.

3) Samus

- The SA-X, which mimics her at full power, needs a Power Bomb to destroy a wall made of weakened Bendezium or Denzium.

- For reference, Sandstone, which is the real-world rock, and Talloric Alloy can be destroyed by regular bombs if weakened.

4) Pikachu

- Neither it nor other organic Pokémon bleed by being hit by cutting attacks because Tajiri has never wanted violent content for the series.

- Seriously, the steel type, of which the mouse's Iron Tail is, consists in literal steel moves, and that one is stated to make its tail steel-hard.

This isn't only about these verses; canon in fiction is determined by general content.

Sincerely, a guy who grew up playing and loving Nintendo/HAL games.

This shouldn't even be dignified with a response tbh, this is like the 8th time you've done something like this and the answer is still no.

Ugh, that just makes me not to ever want to touch the manga...

Also, should we be dignifying a thread like this that will disappear with a response?

To be honest, Tajiri-san hasn't really been involved with Pokémon since Gen 2. So I don't think we should pay too much attention to his opinions from 20 years ago.

@Edwardtruong2006: Nice mixture of ad hominem and ad populum.

@The real cal howard: So that particular manga is violent.

@Dragonmasterxyz: It being likely to disappear isn't a valid criteria.

@NeoZex6399: The game series is still non-violent.

@NotAMarioFan(lol): How about you face the arguments first?

It's not likely to disappear, it will disappear. Wait until the forum move.

Will Ôëá Should
What? This comment makes no sense. Read what I said.

This thread will disappear, meaning everything said here, including arguments will disappear. There is no "should" here. Your thread will objectively not exist when the move happens.

.............What? The forum is moving all threads made within the last few days will not be saved, this has nothing to do with authority and everything to do with this being and incredibly bad time to start this. Copy and save your original post and open a new thread after we move to the new forum rather then having a large drawn out debate that will dissapear within a few days.

"Edwardtruong2006: Nice mixture of ad hominem and ad populum."

Nothing of what he posted was an ad hominem or ad populum. Next.

-Donkey Kong

That's not how outliers work. Next.

-Mario

Your point? Next.

-Link

Your point? Next.

-Samus

Low-End Inconsistencies exist. I guess we should downgrade every character for low end feats. Next.

-Pikachu

Your point? Like seriously, you explain nothing.

"The game series is still non-violent."

Define "non-violent". Also, how is this relevant?

"How about you face the arguments first?"

Can't face something that doesn't exist.

"It being likely to disappear isn't a valid criteria."

It is when any progress here will objectively not exist any longer hence why we don't want any big CRTs until the forum move.

"So you're appealing to authorities in order to eliminate what you don't like?"

1) That's not an appeal to Authority.

2) I literally stated it was via the forum move. Actually read before you post. Please and thank you.

"This is the comic that most resembles the world I was trying to convey."

-Satoshi Tajiri, creator of Pokemo

"I want every Pokémon fan to read this comic!"

-Tsunekazu Ishihara, CEO of The Pokémon Company

Yeah. This totally wasn't the ideas of the creators.

Even discounting PokeSpe, it's not like Team Rocket didn't murder a mother Marowak in the literal first game of the series. And Mewtwo totally didn't murder hundreds in his rampage in his debut.

@Cal

To be absolute fair Cal, that only refers to the comics, not Pokemon as a whole. And the second quote is simply Ishihara wanting you to read it.

If anything regarding Satoshi's quotes, in the interview, he contradicts himself, likely due to a new P.O.V.

...Honestly, should this be counted as a rule violation? This is literally the eighth time he's done this no matter how many times it gets rejected.

Like, this thread isn't going to be accepted period because of the forum move and when this is pointed out he acts like it's an abuse of authority.

I mean, there are stats on this site that I disagree with. There are CRTs that I've agreed with that didn't get added. I don't feel the need to make 8 damn threads on the matter. Because I respect that other opinions exist.

That fact that he's done so, whilst continually making the same arguments and getting rejected time and again shows a deep seated bias that's never going to leave.

So is like, 90% of 1-A and above.
Actually like, 1-A and above tend to be really ******* gory for some reason spoiler they also are usualy Visual Novels

Also, what in the flying **** is this guy thinking needing to use chainmail an ARGUMENT.

What's next, Thanos is needs to be downgraded from 7-B because he wears Armour to protect him.

Batman wears kevlar. Clearly he's 9-C.

Also, going by Somelatinguy's logic:

Gumball would be 10-C for getting hurt by a Spider.

Bill Cipher would be 9-B for getting harmed by the Pines.

MCU Thanos would be 8-C for being staggered by Spider-Man.

Comic Hulk would be 9-B for getting beaten up with a Gorilla.

Arceus would be below tier 6 for getting harmed by a meteor

The whole cast in BFB would be 9-B for getting incapped by a tree faling

The comment about Reporting him???

I agree with this, Latin is just saying same constantly debunked things over and over again and is never learning to respect the staff opinion and dropping the argument.

He's getting reported. he can make his argument on the RvR.
