Just gonna go down the file for this one.

Powers

  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics: We'll get there
  • Supernatural Luck: Pretty sure this doesn't get given out without the verse actually confirming this is a thing. It's purely speculation and extrapolation that he has some sort of supernatural power here.
  • Probability Manipulation: Same thing, but worse. Also the justification debunks itself. "his presence and actions bring misfortune" just means he's being a ditz and messing stuff up for people.
  • Social Influencing: Citations would be nice
  • Pressure Points: What even is this. It's totally possible to incapacitate people without pressure points.
  • Enhanced Senses: You don't need enhanced senses to do that.
  • Technology Manipulation: Citation needed. From what I've heard, it's from a gag where the phone won't work when he's in the room but works when he leaves. Given what Mr Bean is, I seriously doubt this is some sort of special power as opposed to well, a comedy skit.
  • Resistance to Electricity Manipulation: "Survived a defibrillator"? Those are designed to not kill people. There's safeguards built in to those. "survived jumper cables plugged to an electric pole" is insanely vague, and it's not like electricity's invariably fatal. I got electrified by a hotel shower once and in my physics class, doesn't mean I have a resistance.
Physicals

  • Link #1 (9-B AP): This is a paint bomb and nobody is even there that he hurts afterwards. It dealt no damage to the environment at all. Remove this because it is not a feat.
  • Link #2: (Class 1 LS): Pretty sure a small shack of wood isn't >460 kg. Peak or Athletic human makes more sense here, even if some IRL people have gotten all the way to class 5.
  • Outhouse Smashing (9-B+ Dura): It's pretty impossible for him to have actually been hit by the truck here. It passes through with no resistance and he isn't moved. Calc's not really valid due to this.
  • Link #4 (9-B+ Dura): There's no way this is 9-B+, and idk if it's even 9-B. I've had food pop in a pan and fly at me before and it's not like I'm 9-B, it just burns. Math people plz
  • Link #4 (9-A Dura): As you can see in the feat itself, no damage is done by this blast. No shaking, no broken windows, nothing. How is this used as a justification for 9-A?
  • Link #5 (9-A Dura): Several things. Firstly, why assume he's more durable than that kid? Second of all, inverse square law needs to be used to calc how much force that kid actually takes. Third of all, the doors don't exactly move much so I'm doubting it's 9-A, and fourth of all, why are we assuming that kid lived? We don't ever see him again.
Standard Equipment

  • I don't think he keeps all this shit on him constantly. Use Optional Equipment.
Intelligence

  • I don't think you're gifted just for being creative.

In conclusion, this entire profile is riddled with problems and might just be better off removed
 
Agree with the issues pointed out, but Stealth Mastery seems to have issues too, apparently the "guarded museum" that was sneaked into only had one guard who was taking a break at the time, and the museum had no automatic systems. You don't need stealth mastery to walk into a building.

No, it was Butter. That said and as an observation, I have similar problems with many profiles he made & deals with. No hostility towards him but I would like to evaluate all of that, which realistically I wouldn't have time to do, can something be done about it?

I am fine with if it is removed, but we should wait for a response from Buttersamuri first.
 
Everything is wrong on the profile, downgrading it is wayy more work than just remaking it.

I don't get the Johnny English point, we're not deleting the profile for being Mr. Bean, we're deleting it for being absolutely wanked.

Also have you seen a single Johnny English film? Calling it "Mr. Bean trying to play James Bond" is massively belittling it.

I didn't particularly care for the Johnny English films myself. I much preferred Rowan Atkinson's performances in Mr. Bean and Blackadder.
 
Since Butters has posted a lot in other threads, I think it's fine to delete as he's given no attempt to save the thread.
 
You can ask him again in order to make sure. I would personally prefer to keep the profile with the unreliable parts removed.
 
"the unreliable parts" is the entire profile besides a couple of insignificant abilities though
 
Because I have no clue what to change them to. I don't watch Mr. Beam I just noticed that the justifications for 90% of the profile are really bad. Why can't the file just be deleted if it fails to serve it's purpose?
 
Okay, in that case I suppose that it should be deleted, even though I personally like Mr. Bean.
 
If you have no clue what to change them to, why not assume 10-B or maybe 10-A until there's a justification/calculation supporting a rating? Mr. Bean is a typical adult man, and usually unarmed.
 
A 10-B with no relevant abilities from a non-combat verse doesn't really deserve a profile.
 
Sorry, been busy with too many other threads I'm keeping track of. I have several problems with this honestly. But I don't care to enter to argument. I'm in too many currently, and I don't care enough to keep this page alive anyway. So go ahead and delete it if you feel it's necessary. I don't agree with it, but aren't free enough to care enough to defend this.
 
If you wish to remake the file you can ask me to check it over in a sandbox before posting it or something. I'll save it to your sandbox, delete the file, and close this.
 
I've got the page already saved somewhere on my computer. I keep all my pages saved on the case they every get deleted without me noticing. So it's fine to go ahead and delete it.
