"At least City level (Survived a point blank nuclear explosion, although it is unknown how powerful the bomb was)"

Why would we assume it is 7-B when it literally says that it is unknown how strong the bomb is?

No there isnt. The nuke's potency is unknown so we cant use the higher end...at all
We could apply the same logic to the lower end.

We could have it say "at least 8-A, possibly ___" (with the blanks being filled with some sort of compromise).

The tier 8 nukes are weird oddities (there's an 8-B one that's like a nuclear rocket launcher), but 8-A or Low 7-C would be fine I'd think

People seem to most often use 7-C for nuke statistics, but it may be good to start standardizing that to 8-B

@BigSmoke

No

The lower end can be used because thats its purpose, the baseline amount of the power of a nuke

7-A has no basis at all, and even then, only some specific kind of nuke can reach that level. Saying that Bulk's feat is possibly 7-A is baseless and headcanon

7-A is literally 1 bomb, and wasn't even tested at that yield because the plane probably wouldn't escape alright and it would generate a massive amount of fallout. It definitely wouldn't be that.

A warhead is just the bomb part of a missile. That 8-B one has a warhead.

At least 8-A then, probably be good to make a thread to handle more pages scaling to generic nukes

I mean there was a jet that dropped a nuclear warhead on him.

(He was in the epicenter of the explosion btw)

Being at the epicenter just means you do not have to go through the bother of applying the inverse square law as far as I am aware.

This seems to make sense.

No you can get that even on conventional bombs

Bulk's size is hella inconsistent. Sometimes he's not even that big.

Does somebody know if there is an official list of different nuclear explosion energy yields, from low to average to the highest, that we can use for a Weapons profile format "Nuclear Explosions" page here? I think that it would be useful as a reference for us.

Perhaps somebody should start a new content revision thread for what I just mentioned?
