Dangers come in all shapes and sizes within the world of fiction. Some creatures can breath fire, others can spit poison, and some are deadly simply due to their sharp claws and fangs. But those creatures that can absolutely destroy anything in their paths, with almost no exceptions, are truly beasts worth calling monsters. And today, we have two of these kinds of monsters that serve as bosses in their own worlds, and have the power to back it up. Whether they unleash a sonic screech that can atomize their foes, or destroy anything merely by touching it, this will surely leave the landscape around them in complete ruin. So, who will win this day? Today, we find out!

I'm the blue corner, we have Malfestio from Monster Hunter, and in the red corner, we have the Wither from Minecraft.

-This is a fight to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any outside help.

-This fight takes place in the middle of the woods somewhere on Earth, giving both characters an even fighting ground.

-Base Malfestio is used.

-Speed is equalized.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

Hmm...

Well at face value I'd give it to Malfestio. He's just superior in most ways, like lifting strength.

But Wither does have a chance if he can A. Get a blue wither head on him (city street level attack, and I believe it technically ignores dura with blue skull, but correct me if I'm wrong) or B. Catch Malfestio on the ground and get him on fire with a wither blast.

Still, I'd give it to Malfestio. Speed might be equal but I don't think that changes projectile speed, which is athletic human I think? Maybe Subsonic or sonic if we want to give it benefit of the doubt.

For those reasons I'd say Malfestio takes it.
 
A single normal Wither skull will kill Malfestio due to that Death Manip, so it's a question is if either Malfestio can dodge every Wither skull or if he can kill the Wither quick enough before he dies, though that'll still be inconclusive.

I think the Wither has more chances of winning due to it's death manip.
 
He does. And I'm pretty sure it's projectiles are slower than Steve is, and Malfestio is above that. So it shouldn't be hard for Malfestio to just dodge and get his timing right to kill. Yeah
 
It's not my fault that I stopped all of my versus debates around the time the forum move was announced. Cut me some slack, guys.
