Does a fledgling Steven Universe have what it takes to take down a Fodder Robot?

Both are at 9-B

Speed is Equalized.

Egg Pawn has shield

Steven Universe: 7 (Soupywolf5, Buttersamuri, ZackMoon1234, Adem Warlock69, Psychomaster35, Ionliosite, Mister6ame6)

Egg Paw:

Robot serves the glory of Dr. Eggman (not of free will of course) and isn't capable emotions.

Egg Pawn has a 5-B (soon 5-A) shield and can react to Sonic's speed.

Well Egg Pawn's 5-B/A durability comes from a shield, while Steven has Low 7-C durability normally (Not actually sure what that does, but it's there). Also season 1 Steven's speed is unknown so I think you have to equalize speed

Actually, could Steven affect the pawn's programming somehow? I mean, Gems are just hyper advanced computers.
Steven has never effected any of the gems though. At best he's just slapped them with healing spit and he doesn't even understand how that truly works.

However if Steven gets past the shield he could just destroy the robot due to his massive ap advantage and last time I checked the shield isn't full body.

Considering how basic the shield is I feel like giving the Pawn one of the wisp that ignores durability would actually be pretty even in this match.

A wisp is too much of this fight and I want to give Steven a fair chance. Would a Egg Gun or an Egg Bazooka be fine?

Pretty sure the Egg Pawn actually has higher AP (Steven is 3.4 Megajoules, and the EP is 8.5)

Also for some reason Egg Pawn (And other characters who scale to that) are rated as 9-B+ for that? (Even though 9-B+ doesn't start until 10.4675 Megajoules)

Neither of those can hurt Steven.

@Soup

I thought the Egg Pawn just scales to generic wall destroying? Even if it does scale to 8 megajoules, Steven is only 2 times weaker so he could just punch the egg pawn to pieces, eventually, while the Egg Pawn literally can't even scratch Steven.

No the EP scales to Grounders who have an 8.5 Megajoule feat (And are labeled as 9-B+ for it even though that's not a 9-B+ feat). But yeah, given that the EP's 5-A durability is only for a shield (And it has 9-B dura normally) Steven could still destroy it

But then again, I don't remember Season 1 Steven's stamina being particularly great. So the Egg-Pawn could win by outlasting him, although I don't think that's very likely

Just noticed this somehow. Apparently running from a 4-A character as a 9-B is considered a weakness

@Soupywolf5 Yeah, Sonic fans want that taken off because it doesn't make sense.

Nonsense! If you're a real man, then when you encounter someone 30 tiers above you, you fight them head on with zero regrets or fears
