Vegeta (Dragon Ball Super) Revision

Hello everyone!


The image used on the page as "SSJ2 Vegeta".

I made a recent observation regarding this page, namely that one image used is incorrect. Specifically, the image used for SSJ2 Vegeta.

It originates from Super Saiyan Vegeta's card in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle. And the good fellas over on the Dokkan Battle Wiki show us what manga panels and chapters these forms come from, (a brief scroll). As shown below, it comes from Chapter 343 of the manga, "Vegeta Returns!!!", which precedes SSJ2's introduction in Chapter 408, "Gohan Unleashed".

As the image is not Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta (or from DBS), I think it should be changed, I would like to inform those who can edit the page so this can be adjusted accordingly.

Good eye. I blame Toriyama for making the two forms look so similar, haha. I second this notion. Is there any image you'd recommend using instead?

I only had this one when I created the sandbox for the profile. It's hard to find 100% accurate renders for SSJ2 Goku and Vegeta, for example, take a look at Goku's profile (DBS), we use a render from DBZ (missing gi symbol) because we could not find an accurate high quality render from Super.

I found these two after the profile was posted, which do you prefer?

I'd say the glowing one which was the most recently posted looks best too.

It's the spiky hair, you see. But yeah, the design is really very similar...

To not drag this out, this would be the one i'd prefer. You have my apologies for just not giving a straight answer from the get-go. I don't mean to be overscrupulous about these things, so I'm sorry if I've been excessively doing so.

I personally think the third proposed image matches the DBS artstyle best, and thus would be most apt, but I suppose it really is down to what the editor who will make this change likes best at the end of the day.

The shiny one is DBS artstyle. The rest look like they are straight from DBZ.

Yeah, I think if this is for a DBS page, we should use DBS/DBS-styled art. Using DBZ art kind of defeats the point and if we go down that route, we might as well just recycle the SSJ2 art used on Vegeta's DBZ profile. So yeah, I'd say the shiny one is most fitting.

While we are still deciding on which art to use for the page, I would like to show this render I edited that includes the lightning effects. Can I suggest this image for the page?
