Mega Gengar vs. Mr. Game & Watch

Before I make any kind of arguments for either character, how does G&W get past Gengar's Type 7 Immortality?
 
By killing them again. Watch has several hacks. Or incapacitate. If it's smash game and watch. Things like the trophy stand easily incapacitate
 
Yeah, G&W has way more hax, but Gengar has a massive range advantage. Main thing I'm worried about is Gengar's Destiny Bond.
 
G&Ws range looks very wrong. Plenty of attacks and such in smash work across the entire stage. Which can be dozens of meters compared to their sizes. May not be as much as kilometers. But certainly helpful
 
Gengar slips into another dimension and then takes Game & Watch's life force.
 
I don't recall Gengar ever being able to affect people in another dimension without actually being there, but I could be forgetting
