Get Dededunked on: Sans vs King Dedede

Don't really see how Dedede would hit him before Sans got a kill.
 
Dedede should be able to last long enough for Sans to tire out and be left open, given the stamina advantage, regen and resistance to magic. He can also aparently teleport, so that gives him an extra way to dodge attacks.
 
"Tire out" isn't gonna happen cause the fight ends rapidly. Resistance to magic is specifically to transmuting magic, which is different from Sans' soul hax. Regen also doesn't matter, since it doesn't hurt the body. And he doesn't really teleport in character.
 
Couldn't Dedede just, say, destroy the planet the two fight on? Even if (keyword being if) Sans could teleport away in time, his bio doesn't mention anything about him being able to survive without oxigin like Dedede can.
 
He definitely could, but I can't see him doing that. Sans ends his fights quickly, and Dedede's never done something so drastic.
 
This match is admitedly kinda weird due to how Sans works. But probably his biggest weakness is his range, since Dedede has interstellar ranged attacks and more then enough raw power to one-shot.
 
The range IS a problem, but Dedede mostly fights with his hammer, which obviously does not have that range. Besides, just cause he has that range, doesn't mean he can see where he's aiming. And Dedede hasn't teleported once in the last 20 years, I think it's safe to say he won't spam that.
 
Wait, i forgot a very important detail: Dedede actually has plenty experience fighting other opponents who spam teleportation. Not as much as Kirby, but he's still proven that teleportation isn't much of an issue for him. I honestly doubt Sans can dodge his attacks forever even with his teleport spam because Dedede has fought opponents utilizing the same tactic.
 
That's a very good point, actually. But, I still think he'd manage to kill him before Dedede got a hit in.
 
I still think i'll go with Dedede. Sans doesn't have a lot of abillities that the king hasn't dealt with before in some way on a greater scale, including Sans' main ways of dodging attacks and giving people trouble dodging his own (gravity manipulation, which Dedede can resist from beings stronger then Sans). He can also deflect projectiles and harm intengible beings like ghost Kirby and has far better range (even giving the benefit of the doubt by saying he can't aim from an interstellar range, he has still shown to be able to aim well enough to spit Kirby at an opponent that was outside of the atmosphere of the planet Dedede was on).
 
  • DDD's teleportation comes from one minigame, it's no a factor.
  • The Attack Reflection comes from projectiles bouncing off his hammer with a move he has, that's a factor here, just pointing out that they're not going back to Sans.
  • While destroying the planet isn't a factor, low-tiers can make cracks in it notable from space with little effort, so I guess DDD can just punch something and do something like that. Collateral damage seems to only be a problem for the bad guys in Kirby.
  • DDD could overpower everything Sans throws at him if the former can react to it.
  • Both would fight the other when close, likely with Sans teleporting nearby at the start.
DDD could definitely lose if failing to react to Sans' stuff in time but overall I vote him, especially given that he has his mask (I sh*t you not) as he was stated to take things seriously with it.

Isn't his npi limited to ghosts? Sans' attacks are intangible in the phasing way, so I kinda doubt he could touch them.
 
I'm unaware of npi having types and distinguishing ghosts from phasing, but DDD should be able to affect Dark Matter, whose likely to also have phasing as the profile says.
