Attacking vs striking

Minus the pornographic content above, AP and Striking Strength are most of the times same because your AP scales to your striking strength if you can withstand your own punches, as Newton's third law of motion dictates.

Striking Strength is how much damage you can cause with physical blows. AP is the total amount of damage you can cause not just with SS but with weapons, energy attacks, preparation, and special abilities. It is important to list them both in case one is deprived of equipment during a fight, subject to power nullification that disables their energy attacks/ special abilities, is not allowed preparation, or is in some sort of tournament or sparring match where only physical blows are allowed.
