Zeraora reminds me of a Sonic character for some reason...

Anyways it's Base Sonic VS Zeraora, Standard and Optional equipment is allowed.

Speed equalized.

Alright, time to dig into this.

Sonic having access to his Optional Equipment is a giant game-changer, as he can utilize so many things to use to his advantage. Ranging from the wide variety of Wisps, Life-force absorbing weapons, his resurrection item, Spooky Charm to cause fear, etc. If he uses the electric shield, he'll realize Zeraora's attachment to electricity and avoid using such equipment. Zeraora also lacks in the versatility that Sonic has.

Not only that, but Sonic is probably capable of outskilling him due to fighting a wider array of enemies (some passing thousands of years old as well). He'll have no problem adjusting to his disadvantage in power, and should definitely be able to handle Zeraora.

I vote Sonic.
 
Definitely Sonic FRA. More versatility even if he didn't have optional items, and everything else Shake said.
 
Man I'm feeling confident with Sonic now! I think I will put him up against Mewtwo and see how it goes :D
 
Not just Sonic v Pokemon, Sonic in general now that they turned into 5-Bs. But don't worry I was kidding about the Mewtwo vs Sonic match. That would be the ultimate sin.
