I am pretty sure that The Nameless One (CalebCity) stomp since Brandon Rogers (Character)'s books power, which I believe give him his power, only affects the characters created within it and thus, cannot affect Brandon himself as stated in Brandon Rogers (Character)'s weakness.

While true, that doesn't stop plot manip from working as Sam wrote in the book that Brandon took a shot and the latter ended up actually getting shot by a gun that materialized in Sam's hand.
Brandon can't directly affect Caleb with the book but that doesn't stop him from writing something that would kill Caleb.
