Homestuck powers revisions Act 3: the Alpha Kids

I just do them before the beta kids because they have less things:

Acausality (type 1)
The Alpha Kids are the young Guardians send at others time, and all of them are Paradox Clones. See this explanation.

Jake has a normal sydallex, Dirk has hash rap (so the range should be up to "several meters" or "tens of meters", Jane has a sydallex without special things and Roxy possess a "sealing one", which put object into bottles.

Jake English
Summoning: Possess a pendant like all sburb players, and can summon Erisolsprite with it.

Limited life creation (for his base): Brain Ghost Dirk litteraly is a product of his mind.

Another life creation (GT):Created angels (it's also shown in the next pages). Made Brain Ghost Dirk became real.

Energy Projection or Forcefield Creation (GT): His hope field, it's litteraly on his page

Resurrection should be changed in "Immortality (type 1, 4, 8; can only be killed with a heroic or just death), Regenerationn (Mid-Godly)", like the others pages which already have this.

Resistance to Space Manip or BFR (GT): Jade wasn't able to BFR him.

Dirk Strider
Addition to his weapon mastery: Can use FNCYSNTAKIND, canonically the deadliest strife specibus. Likely Summoning: Should have a pendant and being able to summon his sprite, like every Sburb players.

Immortality should be changed to "Immortality (type 1, 4, 8; can only be killed with a heroic or just death)

Flight: with rocket board.

Sealing (GT): Sealed Caliborn, Gamzee, and ARquiusprite into Lil Cal. This should give some kind of Fusionism, since it made Lord English later.

Jane Crocker
Blablabla same immortality and Regenerationn changes as the ones before, seriously the actual profiles are so bad even for an ability that everyone have. Likely Summoning: Should have a pendant and being able to summon her sprite, like every Sburb players.

Can interract with intangible people (Trickster): The "can see invisible thing" is already on her profile, guess people just forgot. Hit Roxy with a pumpkin.

Creation (Trickster): No, I don't see any pumpkins.

Portal Creation, Transmutation (which replaces the "turn thing into cute stuff" part of her reality warping), limited Plot Manipulation and possibly summoning: Turn Horrorterrors into Squiddles and Cherubs into Lil Cal-like creature (possibly summons the horrorterrors and cherubs herself too). The background change just after she leaves the planet and use her powers, so I think she should have a form of plot manip. Also do the portal at the end of this game.

Roxy Lalonde
Blablablabla same thing about the immortality and Regenerationn Likely Summoning: Should have a pendant and being able to summon her sprite, like every Sburb players.

Void Manipulation based on the "can't be seen" should be changed to "Resistance to Precognition"

Weapon and Hand to Hand Mastery: Swordkind and Fistkind

BFR with the Apparifier: Teleport things.

Portal Creation with the Crockercorp Appearifier Rifle: Not it doesn't teleport you, it creates fenestred walls. However the portals are used for teleportation and BFR.

BFR with Void Powers: Do this to Lil Cal.

Creation-based conceptual manip: Her creation is based on idea and concept , since Homestuck universe have platonic concept it seems pretty logic. This should also not being in the "void manipulation" explanation for preventing confusion.

Telekinesis over what she created: Against Condesce.

Offensive void manip: Use this against Condesce.


I'll try to do the beta kids and the others dude this week-end and next week.

Wait, also the plot manipulation. It's kind of... Strange? Dunno if it counts.

Well, he also exist in post-recton and was created the same way, it's a common thing to both pre-recton and post-recton. Also we never saw base Jake in post-recton, he already was god tier so I think it can be good.

I think it should at least count as "minor plot manip" or fourth wall, since litteraly all the plot manipulator in Homestuck have done this (Andrew, Doc, and Caliborn).

Mmmm... no. The post-retcon protipings were: Tavrosprite/GCATavrosprite (Jane), Arquiusprite (Dirk), Rosesprite/Jasprosesprite^2 (Roxy) and Nepetasprite/Davepetasprite^2 (Jake)

Oh, my bad then (I forgot the "everyone is litteraly a cat" post-recton). Their base being pre-recton, they should at least have the summoning for this key nah? Like the beta kids (who will not have this in others keys because they all lost their pendant).

With the epilogues here, I'd like to add a few things.

Dirk Strider

- Dirk Strider has Nigh-Omniscience, Fourth Wall Awareness, Sleep Manipulation, Text Manipulation, and Mind Manipulation now, as demonstrated in the Meat Route.

- He demonstrates that he's aware of the reader the first time he hijacks the narrative by saying this: "You're not so innocent either. I've caught you leering at some pretty personal moments. Are you having fun being a voyeur? Just violating the shit out of everyone's privacy? Are these teenage romantic entanglements panning out the way you wanted? They never do. Maybe it helps, being able to see everyone's thoughts described in plain sight. Broadcasting the internal conflicts, the compromises, the doubts… Does it make it easier for you to accept the emotional faltering, the missteps, the basic inability to reach out and seize the opportunity for happiness repeatedly dangled in their faces? Knowing their thoughts are transcribed by a third party, does it fill you with a sense of unease, of sickness, sensing that the observations made of their mental interiors may be tainted?" - Speaking of hijacking the narrative, he does that in a literal sense as well. By becoming the narrator, he's able to have limited control over the story. Shown here.

- His Ultimate Self, like Rose, is developing to a point where he continually grows more and more aware of every doomed and dead Dirk and Bro's memories (of which there are a presumably infinite amount). Unlike Rose, however, he does not grow deathly ill because of it. He adapts. Shown here.

- Later on, when Alt Calliope steals the narrative from him, he gets sick of it and starts yelling to rehijack the narrative, snipes Calliope's possessed vessel from the top of a building into a window (which should make him an Expert Marksma as well), and forces her text to gradually get smaller and smaller until there's nothing there, and rehijacks the narrative. - Has a rifle with tranquilizer darts capable of putting Jade Harley to sleep for months. Shown here.

- Was able to manipulate Kanaya Maryam into not interfering with him and Rose's plan to escape Earth C. Shown here.


- Weakness-wise, if he willingly commits suicide because he wants to die for good, it'll be seen as a Just death, as demonstrated in the Candy route. This should be reflected in every god tier's page. Shown here.

Roxy Lalonde


- Roxy Lalonde is non-binary now, uses he/him pronouns. Page should be reflected to be as such. Shown here .

Their Homestuck: Epilogues' version likely would need another key, But the actual revision are more for the Homestuck one before adding more things, Epilogues need his own thread.

Also, shouldn't Calliope's God Tier tier be updated, seeing that she stated about Lord English to Aradia that "even on his best day he stands no chance against me", yet she's 2-B while Lord English is likely 1-B.I think she should be 1-A or at least high 1-B

Their Homestuck: Epilogues' version likely would need another key, But the actual revision are more for the Homestuck one before adding more things, Epilogues need his own thread.

Anyway if the 1-A upgrade happens, they'll be on this level.
