This is Post-Crisis Superman and MMX Era Mega Man X

Who wins and why?

X has all his equipment.

Fight takes place in Metropolis, and neither will be worried about hurting innocent people (they are all somewhere else)

To the death, but otherwise in-character.

Well, currently he's scaled to the original Mega Man, so he's around 250c. Do you have anything that puts X and 420c?
 
I didn't read the manga all that thoroughly (not helped by the fact that I can't read Japanese), so would you mind posting a scan?

Right, and Superman is a much higher degree of MFTL. Just because they're in the same tier of speed doesn't mean they're equivalent
 
He would have to activate those abilities in time, which is hard to do in a mobility and speed disadvantage
 
X 7-8/10

X should take this since he has a somewhat comfortable power advantage (Kyle Rayner is just under Supernova level, Supes is well above him but X is 3.5 Supernova/foe without using his strongest attacks), the upper hand in combat speed (260c vs 420c), and more experience (200 Years vs 50), along with a better healing factor (Supes can only heal things like major cuts while X regened from a little orb/ball).

Both have some solid hax but X edges out due to time stop and soul hax.

Both are smarter than Supercomputers (Mega Man's brain is one. X is much smarter than he is and Supes is canonically > Supercomputers)

Both are very capable leaders (Superman leads the JLA, though he's basically a terrible leader in Injustice but Regime Superman is basically the Copy X of DC. X was capable of sustaining the remaining people of humanity and the reploids into a city-sized country despite limited resources)


I'm voting X since he has more abilities and a slight stat advantage and the fact that they're roughly equal or similar otherwise.
 
going with X via hax, also, if he has ALL his equipments he can just shadow dash past heat vision and buster shoot superman to death, also, he could simply nova strike Superman INFINITY times due to probably having the ultimate armor

That's presumably game mechanics, but yeah, X has Supes beat in virtually every category, so this is probably a hax stomp.

More decisive than anything else. Supes has resistance to some of X's hax and hax of his own that makes this fair game. The only hax Supes can't counter outright are time hax and possibly soul hax.
 
honestly way too many fights nowadays are called out as stomps. I could understand if the character has no means of fighting back or similar, but something like this is more decisive. It's like pitting Darth Maul against Anakin Skywalker

I agree. Its one of my big hangups here, we can take that topic to pms sometime.

Here though, Superman has internal Heat vision (coupled with xray vision) and Intangability coupled with high frequency vibrations. I'd argue he even has a few more tools at his disposal, but pretty sure most wouldn't be accepted here. Even then, X either has counters and a nice pocket full of are a hax at his disposal (to put it mildly). All in all, seems pretty decisive.
