Instant Death vs Highway to Hell (Grace)

well,if yogiri says die, both die,but a hand to hand fight, mcqueen has more AP and more Dura, so...

win via death = inconclusive

win via KO = mcqueen

Will they really go hand-to-hand? Yogiri knows his best bet is a ranged attack via thought
they dont know about the powers of each other so is inconclusive

Yeah, in-character, Yogiri would just try and kill him the moment he even remotely seemed like a threat.

Incon FRA.

Search for a legitimate win for Thunder is to be continued...

I love how this guy pulled an inconclusive against the same guy that inconclusived GER
Just goes to show that Jojo is a complex Rock Paper Scissors verse and not a power escalation verse. Which is why all fights are more about strategy and planning rather than power.

If Yogiri starts with instant death, Highway to Hell ain't doing jack about it.

1) McQueen's Stand can only replicate damage, not something as abstract as "death", especially if this thing can kill inanimate objects and abstract entities and non-entities. Oh, and it can apparently also erase the target from existence.

2) The profile lists this feat:

  • Yogiri subconsciously killed a demon lord along with his passive miasma (Which would have killed Yogiri).
And this ability:

  • Instant Death: Instant Death is Yogiri's ability to kill anything with a single thought (Although he usually says something like "die" along with it, it's actually stated and shown to be thought based on multiple occasions). Yogiri can also sense any hostility directed at him or his allies and use that to track enemies he cannot see, predict their movements/thought patterns, and instantly kill them.
So, I very much doubt that Highway to hell could do anything about this.

Oh...I assumed the HtH worked on all of the stands in Jojo and their abilities, so it could probably work on ID, is that not the case?

Pretty sure it only worked on Hermes in that fight. And Stands aren't abstract entities either.

Question, actually. Could Instant Death kill Highway to Hell? IDK much about JoJo, but I heard that stands are at least alive

From what the profile says, this guy can sense additional opponent and even predict their actions, and kill abstract non-living and abstract entities.

So yes, he is perfectly capable of killing HtH, and McQueen would probably die from it too.

I'm conflicted, and retracting my vote for the mo. The description for Highway to Hell does not specify that it only replicates physical damage, and even on a thread discussing TMQ vs TOAA, me and some other users came to the conclusion that TOAA wins via 3D EE, which TOAA would resist easily.

But that statement implies that TMQ reflects everything. Not just physical attacks, but destructive hax too.

Yougiri can sense addition enemies, but that doesn't mean he can sense Highway to Hell, as the stand only materializes after he makes an attack. Plus, TMQ doesn't actually mean him harm, he means himself harm. So even if Yogiri could sense Highway to Hell, would he go so far as to figure out that it isn't TMQ? And would he even prioritize the Stand over the physical opponent, seeing as he has no prior knowledge

HtH is not McQueen's Stand, so he should be fine even if it gets destroyed, although that leaves him totally powerless.

How the heck does Highway to hell transfer instant and conceptual death? HTH has no feats of replicating hax.
