Is DBZ one of the most overrated franchises here on vs battles?

Just wondering if DBZ is overrated on here compared to other franchises vs battles uses here.

I'm also wondering about this because goku is frequently used a lot as well as the fact DBZ does not have a lot of hax.

Finally I'm wondering about this because DBZ fans tend to think strength, speed, and destruction mean everything in a fight and not hax which I think is stupid because strength and speed don't always mean everything when someone has hax like time manipulation, durability negation, and etc.

So what's your opinion on DBZ here on vs battle wiki?
 
Probably not the most overrated. People here are pretty aware of hax and there's enough characters in every tier for DBZ characters to get matched with similar strength/speed.

Goku's used a lot, as all popular characters are, but I don't think he's particularly overrated in those uses.
 
Dbz just doesn't have a lot of hax I guess.

It's mostly ki blasts punches.

The only hax I see come from beerus and Zeno aka erasure using hakai.
 
There's more hax, but it typically comes from characters no one cares about in vs battles, like Master Carrot and Spike the Devil Man. Remember, the first series was all about magic and mysticism, and with such comes cool hax powers.

But isn't most of the time dbz just uses energy blasts and punching?
 
Hax is not indicative of quality whatsoever, so Dragon Ball usual void of hax does not mean it is overrated in its popularity.

I don't know how someone could even come to that conclusion.
 
I wouldn't call it Overrated but that's just me. I don't bother much with Dragon Ball now a days.

Strength and Speed mean a lot and if anyone thinks it doesn't needs to really think. Hax is also important but if you die before you could use it it's useless, It all depends on the the who it is.
