His name is Weather!!

Looks like as long as Diavolo is still facing Domenico Pucci or any projects scattered rainbows in various places within its range at any point of time, Diavolo will turn into a snail. Diavolo must time and calculate his route for a single kill, else Domencio has a new pet snail.

Diavolo loses by having eyesight.

Weather Report has my vote.
 
Diavolo kills before he gets completely turned into a snail. He precogs that touching rainbows is bad and erases time till he kills Weather.

So winnig conditions for Diavolo still exist. Just more times than not his eyes get caught by the rainbow and gets transmuted.
 
The real problem is that he doesn't get transmuted instantly but it takes time. The Underworld guy didn't turn into a snail for several minutes.

To be fair, he has the highest AP bellow the universe destroyers by magnitudes and has passive mind hax to boot. Both of these are rare in jojo, so it is understandable
 
I really don't think he's going to use that fast enough. He could simply not use that, period.
 
It feels like Diavolo has a really tough time with hax that have sort of area of effect thing going on. And I don't just mean theoredically, Vladimir Kocaqi (character from Purple Haze Feedback, stand makes rain that makes you only feel the current sensations as the droplets hit you) has the whole sensory lock thing activated by rain contact thing and Diavolo was pretty fearful of Vlad because of that.

So for a even more threatening ability to similar means of activation, I going to give it to Weather Report.
 
Even if Diavolo decided to erase being turned into a snail, he can't really touch Weather thanks to atmospheric shields. He'll burn up if he tried punching Weather.

I want to believe that I'm not remembering this well but can someone prove that he both instantly uses shields and the snail-effect thing?
 
The moment he got his memories back, Heavy Weather's abilities started working. Heavy Weather follows the old JoJo rule of Stands will protect their user even if they don't know it. Weather couldn't even kill himself because Heavy kept saving him.
 
It does, because Heavy Weather did the snail thing almost immediately after Weather got his memories back. Weather didn't even have control over it and alluded to not being able to stop it.
 
This comment is somewhat useful, the other wasn't. Wanting to protect=/=use one's best hax immediately always.
 
I checked that. Diavolo takes this.

Assuming they both use precog and the snail-thing immediately when starting, which is generous for Weather, Diavolo would still just time erase his approach, seeing himself being turned into a snail and not knowing why, and then donut Weather quickly.
 
Is that even a thing he can do? Pucci was still able to land notable blow after blow on him, and Diavolo even aims for the user.
 
Pucci landed blows because he had the upper hand in that fight. Weather was injured by Whitesnake and didn't see Pucci coming nor did he think that he'd take his own eyesight.
 
Scaled from his weather manip, which I still think should be 6-C but whatever.

Basically, Heavy Weather being the actual weather should mean that it's environmental destruction should scale to it's physical attributes. Thus, High 7-C shields.

Plus, no character thus far has been able to break through the shields whenever he's used them so it's not outlier.
 
Scaling environmental destruction to physical attributes sounds like absolute nonsense but as this is a vsthread and Diavolo would still win I'm not further commenting on the matter.
 
He's Diavolo. He probably has at least one way to defeat every character in tier 8 bar Matoi Sumeragi. And I'm including HA DIO in that.
