Triborg vs Ophelia

Another Triborg match? Well Ophelia seems familer so-

<Realizes this is the girl from VR

.....Give me a bit of time......

His fighting style consists of mixed martial arts and CQC but he has no problem spamming ranged options.

Sektor (Red), typically involves spamming teleportation, typically teleporting directly under the opponent before flying up and uppercutting them

Cyrax also teleports but uses a massive variety of bombs and nets to trap the opponent.

Smoke has a chain to pull targets towards him and can go intangible at will

Cyber Sub Zero has a ton of Ice related attacks and an absolute zero beam.

Cyber Sub Zero fought Goro and Kintaro at once and won, both of them barely survived the 267 Ton explosion that caused them to lose a couple limbs. So the AP difference isn't too big

I see.

How is the AZ beam? Ophelia seems to have a good shot against Cyber Sub Zero due to her ice resistance, unless the AZ beam has a huge AoE.

Sektor uses fire? That paired with the mobility advantage could be quite troublesome (same for Curse, bombs count as fire element in VR), because Ophelia is weak to it (she can give herself resistance to cancel it out though).

She definitely has the edge in versatility to a significant degree if Triborg needs to change version each time, so there is that (unless it's instant or something)

>Curse

whodat.

Also Triborg can have each version of himself attack at once, they aren't stuck in the same body.

It's a Straight Shot, but he has grenades and miniature drone balls around him that can shoot as well. Although they don't have a particularly good AoE.

Sektor does have Two Flame Throwers on his wrists yes. Also telecut will be a pain to dodge if Ophelia doesn't have solid enhanced senses as its literally him flying up from a hole in the ground to punch you from below.

He can split himself into 4 to make it a 4 on 1 fight if he needs too however.

Damn with all the Triborg matches I've been seeing recently it's a shame that evidently not a single one has been concluded.

If he has the numbers + mobility advantage + two of them use the equivalent of fire ragnaid, Ophelia probably loses. She could deal with each one of them individually, but I don't think that she can handle a 4 vs 1.

Plus this guy is a robot so galdr is out even if Ophelia tries

Actually he's likely a cyborg not a robot. Which might be a problem since I'm unsure if he doesn't actually have a mind or not

On one hand he's literally called Triborg and is an amalgamation of all the cyborgs of the lin kuei

But he really hasn't shown having a mind beyond X Rays

Even then, Ophelia doesn't really lead with her galdr (Unless you are Brunhilde), so i see her getting overhelmed more often than not.

I'll just point out that Triborg is a real robot.

In preparation, the Grandmaster ordered all members to submit to tests, during which their physical and mental data was secretly recorded and stored in an offsite database. After Sub-Zero eliminated all cyber-Lin Kuei, Special Forces discovered their hidden data storage site. They brought the drives to a secret S-F weapons lab, then downloaded several files into a test body.

As you can see here, Triborg lacks any human features like flesh and stuff.

Triborg not a cyborg 1
no flesh or internal organs despite the xrays shown in the game

Triborg not a cyborg 2
hydraulics

Triborg not a cyborg 3
moar hydraulics

This is too much Mortal Kombat threads, but I can never get tired of it.

In that case, Triborg takes this

Is Triborg the kind of robot that gets messed up by electicity based attacks?

Because Ophelia is definitely going to use that given that 99% of the mechanical enemies in Valkyria Revolution are weak to electricity.

I feel dumb for remembering this only now

Lightning bolts are.

Discharge just shocks everything in front of the alchemist without any real travel time

I dont' really have a gif of it or a video.

Basically it hits all the opponents in a cone shaped area (of a few metres) in front of the alchemist.

It's casted by Ophelia raising her sword iirc (Don't remember exactly her attack animation but it was something like that, and it's the same for all her spells)

Triborg can deal with the lightning bolts just fine, speed is equal so he just needs to sidestep/teleport

Smoke can deal with the attack easily using elemental intangibility, Cyrax can just disassemble himself and reassemble somewhere that isn't in the range of the attack, Sektor probably gets caught and Sub-Zero instantly teleports without even raising a finger

This ends like every other Triborg match. 4v1 with 1 of those 4 being able to one shot you is ridiculous. Triborg FRA.
