So, seeing that Wolverine can regenerate his heart, I'm changing my view to Wolverine. Superior durability, his healing factor counters Akame's biggest trump card, but inferior speed. Akame has no way to kill Wolverine as a result, and the adamantium claws can slice through characters with superior durability to that of Akame.

As such, it's more than likely that Wolverine can simply outlast Akame, and tire her out before killing her. I'm changing my side to support Wolverine.
 
I'm not sure how being able to regenerate the heart would save Wolverine from a very deadly poison.

From what I remember, the poison is stated in universe to work through, essentially, destroying the heart. As Wolverine can regenerate his heart, the poison's effects are basically worthless. The poison does not have any effect that nullifies healing factors on that scale. Or at least, has no such such feats.
 
Well, it's a poison, so it should affect more organs than just the heart. Besides, incap is a method of victory, so Akame could just subdue Wolverine instead.
 
just how powerful her poison anyway? logan can still be turn into zombie so he definitely not immune to every poison or disease.
 
Fight start:

1 Akame blitz Wolverine, Wolverine is on the ground.

2 Wolverine gets up: his regen save him.

Repeat from point 1 for a couple of time; Akame get tired and then Logan finish the job. Wolverine win.
 
So basically i'm seeing a fight where stamina really matters here. Akame keeps poisoning Wolverine over and over, heart keeps regenerating, Akame gets tired, Wolverine kills her.

Yes, Akame have upper hand in ALL stat but the regen Wolv has is way too much for Akame. If i remember correctly Logan tank even attack from Marvel powerhouse.
 
And one more bump. If no one responds by midnight, i'll run by a mod and chalk this up as a win for Wolverine.
 
apperently akame has OHK hax with the poison but since wolvie can heal I guess his can outlast akame eventually to win
 
I also would like to add that even though Akame has the speed advantage. Wolverine is skilled and fast enough to tag much faster people then him like Quicksilver and Speed Demon.
 
This battle is starting to sound like a weird slapstick scene..

I think quite a few of you are operating under the assumption that either character would have a vested interest in continuing this battle after the initial round or two. Akame would take the first round and Wolverine being incapacitated for however long it takes for the poison to eventually purge itself from his body. Realistically, Akame will have moved on since this occurrence and Wolverine will likely awake on an operating table or in a body bag. If the two seek one another out, the results will not likely change; Akame will be off on adventures afterwards, or resting, and Wolverine will be busy with a full pestilence purge. I cannot see this ending in anything other than a draw, both characters growing disinterested in this affair; however, by default, a rested Akame would take Wolverine 10 out of 10 times in a fight. The agility and speed factor is enormously one-sided. Even if Wolverine's healing factor was significantly bolstered, I see no reason why Akame could not put him down several hundred (yes, hundred) times before deciding that running away would be a more economically viable option.
 
Alright. Gotta keep this thread rolling then. I am an extreme determinator when it comes to having a thread reach a conclusion.
 
Alright. Provided no one else answers within about an hour or so, i'll ask a mod to close this thread and add the win for Wolverine and loss for Akame.
