Ainz Ooal Gown vs Shao Kahn

From my comparatively limited knowledge on both verses (I've watched the Overlord anime and played MK 9&10) I would guess this goes as follows:

Kahn raises his hand

Ainz raises his hand at the same time

Ainz's soul gets ripped out

Kahn's heart is crushed

Ainz dies and stays dead

Kahn dies but then says "Lol Low-Godly"

Again I'm no expert so you can probably prove me wrong.
 
There's a CRT about Overlord characters' (including Ainz) soul manipulation resistance that hasn't been concluded yet...

You're going to need to wait for it to conclude first before this thread can continue any further, as whether or not Ainz gets the resistance would make a huge difference for this fight.
 
When has Shao Kahn ever actually just waved his hand and took someone's soul?

Like... never from what I remember.

At least Ainz has a few instances of "lol u ded"
 
This is his highest key, literally his first move is mass soul rip unless they resist that kind of soul manip. He does that to pretty much any realm he comes across such as Earthrealm and Netherrealm.

If Kahn isn't in Mortal Kombat tournaments or formal battles and such, Kahn soul rips.

Beginning of MK3, MK Armageddon, MK9 with Shang Tsung, Manipulation of Shang Tsuings souls in MK2, creation of Ermac.

A lot actually

He doesn't even need to wave his soul as Ainz can't do jack squat to him
 
That doesn't mean Ainz will use them off the bat. He will use the abilities that he often and consistently uses such as death magic.
 
Didn't we have a thread for giving Overlords Soul Hax resistance?
 
Not sure if it's enough to resist Shao's soulhax

If he can resist that much potency of soul manipulation, then Ainz Ooal Gown stomps
 
Ainz wins since he can stop time and use death hax. Shao Kahn lack resistances to either of those. Ainz can also use an unknown assortment of world items and guild items since he has prep.
 
Ainz doesn't have resistance to soul manipulation on Shao's level

At all

Unless Ainz shrugged if something vastly superior to planetary resistance
