Let's begin the hunt with the Ghost Zone's greatest Hunter vs the Hunter that can't seem to stay dead. Skulker has come to capture The Hunter and put him on display in the Ghost Zone.

Rules

Both have an day of preparation

Battle takes place in an abandoned warehouse

8-A version of The Hunter

Skulker:

The Hunter (Bloodborne):

Inconclusive:

I'm not really seeing a way to kill the hunter for skulker rn, whereas numbing mist counters his Regen and from there he can just die to normal means.

What level of Regenerationn can Numbing Mist negate?.

Skulker can incapacitate The Hunter.

I don't really see how that works. Everything on the file that could do anything sounds pretty lethal, and if it isn't the hunter can force a reset anyways.

Skulker literally has Power Nullification via his Hand Cuffs and Containment Cube which is what I meant by incapacitation. Plus paralysis darts.

Hunters reset works when he dies so for him to force a reset he'd half to kill himself but will be unable thanks to Containment Cube which blocks of movement.

It's the moon presence that resets. You'd need to null that.

No where on his page does it state it's the moon presence doing the resetting from what I can see.

MP is responsible for the continued existence of the Hunter's dream, though the profile should clarify it's direct involvement.

The Hunters Mark is a part of him or an item.

Bold mark is an item, regular Mark is just sorta intrinsic. The difference is bold let's you keep your blood echoes.

Apparently numbing mist hits souls now, so I guess that would kill skulker. Don't remember that being said thing though.

Throw to create a mist cloud that numbs a hunter's life essence and prevents restoration of HP. Said to be used by the blood hunters of Cainhurst, its recipe is a secret closely guarded by the line of nobles inhabiting the castle.

Life essence doesn't necessarily mean soul though

Whatever I've gotta sleep anyways

Still don't understand. The reset only happens when he dies. Power Null will stop him from using the normal Hunters Mark to kill himself and being his movements are restricted he can't use the Bold Hunters Mark since it's an item he'd half to grab to use.

Unless he doesn't need to grab it and just needs to will it.

He doesnt kill himself with Hunter Marks, and he doesnt have to grab anything with the Hunter's Mark, he just has to think of as its a rune etched in his mind

Dangling, upside-down rune etched in one's mind. Symbol of a hunter. By focusing one's thoughts on this rune, a hunter loses all Blood Echoes, but awakes afresh, as if it were all just a bad dream.

https://bloodborne.wikia.com/wiki/Bold_Hunter%27s_Mark

Dangling, upside-down rune etched in the mind of a hunter. The image upon this parchment allows one to envision the rune with clarity. Allows a hunter to awaken again without losing Blood Echoes, a trick that seems nearly too good to be true.

Pretty sure he needs to move a bit for the bold mark. Normal idk. However, this all assumes that he gets handcuffed in the first place. The hunter isn't really one to try to tank a hit, and has tools such as invis, mist, hunters bone, etc to make getting a hit difficult.

Last post for the night from me.

@Weekly

Ok now I fully understand, Thank you. Guess Skulker doesn't have a way to stop incapacitate The Hunter with his tech.

What about Possession?.

@Wokistan

It's true that it'd be hard to handcuff him but the containment cube is completely different. It starts out the size of a rubix cube then expands around the target near it leaving only the head exposed.

Ghosts in Danny Phantom can see other invisible beings. However your other points are valid.

@Weekly

For Skulker, yes it is. He'd prefer to use his tech but if he sees nothing else works he will go for it.

Wait, can his suit even possess someone? Or would he have to revert to his weak true form in order to do so?

To be complicated honestly. At times it seems like he's possessing the suit which is why it can make facial expressions but he can't fly normally (yet at times he can). It also is treated as him remote controlling the suit from the head.

Even I'm uncertain. He probably could given he can use the rest of his powers but it would be safest to assume he would need to leave his suit.

Sigh... However that would result in him being far weaker than before. Guess Skulker can't do a thing.

@Litentric Teon

True, Fright Knight and Vlad need to get in more matches. I'll close this one given it's a bit taken up and make a new thread later.
