White Face vs. Devilman

So uh, what even are Devilman's offensive capacities? Just skimming through his profile and I don't see much that could erase an omnipresent nonexistent being.

This...is just your usual WF matchup, isn't it? No defense against PN and no passive abilities = inconclusive at best.

I wouldn't really call it a stomp. I'm 100% sure that Devilman has something to counter Mid-Godly somewhere in his arsenal. If not, then maybe.

Pretty sure White Face is getting Conceptual Manipulation and Resistance to it. Don't quote me on that. Besides, it doesn't matter against 5-D stuff so it won't help here.

No need, just explain how it works.

Ok.

He has passive Transmutation and Fusionism witch can kill demons, witch are conceptual beings.

It can also merge 5-D matter with 3-D matter.

How is his absorption passive again? Or able to kill 5-D people? Because neither of those are on his profile and the former is even contradicted by how it's described on his profile.

Nonexistent physiology is much better than conceptual existence

So, is Deviman able to affect something that doesn't exist.?

That's also one of the issue. Absorbing nothing into himself is going to be a bit hard, even with 5-D stuff, unless he does something like absorbing all of reality into himself.

Transmutation/fusionism refers to "merging" from Darkside of the Devilman, right?

Since when is Devilman's merging ability passive?

Assuming that's what the two abilities are referring to, I'm pretty sure it's something Amon had to activate before he could just walk around and transmute things with his presence.

I'm going to reread some of the series when I head to the library today. I need to be sure this isn't something that's been misinterpreted.

It comes from chapter 1 and 2, Vatican, Japan, human, and like transmutating only by moving part. He wasn't even aiming on that part. He just started to transmutate once he transformed, and likely didn't even bother on his human form too.

You realize he was in his demon form during his fight with Zenon, right? Nothing was melting at all during that fight.

In fact, that's the same fight where both of them directly tanked a barrage of nukes that vaporized the Atlantic Ocean. If this were really a passive ability that came with Amon's transformation and didn't require any activation or concentrated will whatsoever, all of those nukes would have melted into paste the moment they came anywhere near him.

Unless the entire multiverse was instantly transmutated by his sheer presence, it still leaves time for WF to null.

Nukes didn't even hit, it was in mid-air. Demons also resist Fusion. Also in Dosu fight they fused the ocean. The deers on Russia maybe were transmutated, so does all the things who get near him. Before Dosu fight water near him gets transmutated by being there. It's really have small range. Although it technically can be seen from a satellite.

Asura was permanently killed, bypassing any of her Immortality. Including type 9. Not even glimpse of her is left, even her 5-D spirit where type 9 comes from. Devilman Saga is a thing.

@Reinhard:

The point is that they managed to get within fairly close-proximity detonation range and explode, instead of being turned to paste before they could do so, like they would have been if Amon's merging were a passive ability that affected anything within his presence.

Which it isn't. He has to activate it manually, and even when he does, its range is very clearly shown to vary depending on how much of his will he's putting into the ability. (Hence why he managed to travel across Kanto and into Hokkaido without affecting anything outside of Japan with it)

Also I think WF wins this. Devilman's starting range is small, albeit that's his 5-B self, not 2-C one. WF Mid-Low Difficulty.
