I don't know who has the AP advantage, as Isshin's short scuffle with Aizen gave the impression that he is really quite strong, but this is Ichigo, who is one of the powerhouses of the franchise and is at his strongest.


But Isshin definitely has the experience and versatility advantage, so I'd probably give the match to him.
 
Ichigo definitely has comparable AP, with better stamina and speed. While Isshin has experience and versatility, Ichigo only spams GT while Isshin has gone through the Shin'o Academy and knows a number of Kido. Voting incon for now.
 
I mean, at this point Ichigo has fought people that is way more experienced and hundreds of years older than him.

Isshin fought with Artificial hollow? Well, Ichigo fought Espadas.

Isshin fought with Aizen? Ichigo also fought Aizen, while he's on steroid too.

Isshin has GT, so he can counter Ichigo's GT with his own? Nothing new to Ichigo.

Versatility? Well, both Byakuya and Aizen is pretty versatile too in term of Kido Mastery (While there's some PIS or CIS involved but you get my point), Isshin never shown to use lot of kidos in combat IIRC, we never seen him use useful bakudo spells in combat (Though Kubo can showcased his Kido when he fought with White but ehh, darn you Kubo).

I wonder if this Ichigo can use Blut Vene here? That might be a game changing here.
 
You know what? Imma vote for Ichigo. At this point, fighting a captain level shinigami with centuries of experience and someone who has the same moveset is nothing new to him. A random blut vene can also helps, Ichigo also has better feats than Isshin.. So yeah, Ichigo should take this with high difficulty since it's his father he's fighting to the death after all.
 
I was under the impression that every versus thread is a battle to the death by default unless the OP say otherwise. Maybe I watch too much death battle.
 
If the characters can incap, then they will go for the incap.

Incon? But yeah, until Isshin actually does something or we finish our CRT hiatus, Ichigo wins.
 
I do not see Isshin beating a Ichigo that is more than likely comparable to Kenpachi that is likely stronger than his FKT Arc self, someone who Aizen did not want to deal with until he had immortality.

I vote for Ichigo
