How good's precog and causality for elisabetta?

Sorry Dargoo, it was going to happen sooner or later, these characters always brings attention.

@Wokistan, her synchronization with Uriel (the God of freedom) allows her to see uncoming events through dreams, reflections in water/mirror or whispers. And her causality is granted by Eliol (the God of chaos) something like choose the effect out of two diffent causes (game wise, it allows you to reroll).

@Weekly, you are free to choose a better name (if the other ones agree), I do not known RWBY enough to choose an appropiate name.

Also going to sleep, any question will be responded in like 8 hours.

But she is one tho. She also suck as a character, as Blake and Yang do.
Depends on what you define a Mary Sue as.

Back in the day it was more or less slang for, "Self insert" but now is used to mean pretty much any character that succeeds and gains powers beyond an acceptable rate- typically without justification or character development.

Last I checked, Ruby's got a pretty good losing streak going with plenty of times she's been beaten; and aside from the Silver Eyes (which tbf Monty died so some plot points were lost) she has not suddenly been pulling random powers out of nowhere AFAIK nor is she succeeding when she should instead fail.

Oh hohohoho, this is getting good, I will gladly debate you this (just gimme time 'cuz tomorrow I have a test and im going to sleep) but preferable in your wall so we avoid derailing this match.

I'm gonna say it now, the closest thing Ruby has come close to being a Mary Sue is the ass pull reveal of the Silver Eyes in Vol 3. That's about it. Everything else is kinda even with everyone.

No one really comes off as Mary Sueish.

Maybe if arguing to the very limit, Penny due to her incident with Roman. And I'm saying that as a fan of her.

Good luck on your test Tony!

I wouldn't say Ruby is a Mary Sue, she has plenty of relatable flaws. I would say Yang is a Mary Sue, though, for the first few volumes of RWBY, until she got amputated by Adam.

I have a long, long list of things I'd rather do than debate about whether a fictional character, particularly one I don't care for, is a slang term that doesn't even have a good objective method for defining whether said character can be designated such or not. I gave just enough of a care to comment and get that one more edit point and just a bit more enough to explain it.

I agree so much. Yang may have had some good moments with other characters but she was flawful at that point. Then again I think it led up to the point of her disarming.

TBH none of the characters are that much of a mary sues, or gary stues.

Even if they are given deus ex machine powers, they seem inca0able of using the power proprly.

... Is the last time that I use the word sue/stu in a title, this thread didn't have the effect that you guys claimed, guess is my fault... Going change the title name and hopefully there's going to be an actual debate or at least the comments will have a mix between both types of comments.
