I did a basic KE calc on the strength of Raiden's swing, using his sub-rel combat speed calc. Using this KE calculator and 1 kg as the weight of the sword, I got a result of 3.24419E+15 Joules, or 77.538 kilotons of TNT.

That's calc stacking. In order yo get KE you need a stated in-universe speed or feat to scale from first.

I do not know anything about the verse, but there's nothing wrong about the calculation in the original post as far as I know. It's specifically calculated in the blog that Raiden swings his sword at is 8,055,445.59 M/S and it's simply just calculating the kinetic energy of his swords moving at said speeds.
Likewise, input from other members knowledgeable about the verse would be invaluable here, as I do not know how this would intertwine with consistency.
