Possible Ripper Mode Raiden Upgrade

That's calc stacking. In order yo get KE you need a stated in-universe speed or feat to scale from first.

That sub-relative combat speed is his own feat, it isn't scaled to anyone.

Calc Stacking page . Example 3

  • Character A was calculated to be able to punch with an energy of 50 000 Joules. Assuming his fist weights about 0.5 kg, it needed to move at least with Mach 1.3 to get that much energy. So the attack speed of that character and the speed of everyone who can dodge his punches is supersonic.
Basically the same thing as the OP's calc, but with the forumla slightly changes. You could only get KE from Raiden's speed if the game gave you something first.

If he swung a sword at these speeds, then it would be acceptable according to our standards.

Kinetic Energy Feats

Speed can be used to find KE whe

  • A certain character swings/deflects using a weapon. The kinetic energy of the weapon can be found in this case.

Oh. Well then its okay under the current rules.

I do not know anything about the verse, but there's nothing wrong about the calculation in the original post as far as I know. It's specifically calculated in the blog that Raiden swings his sword at is 8,055,445.59 M/S and it's simply just calculating the kinetic energy of his swords moving at said speeds.

Likewise, input from other members knowledgeable about the verse would be invaluable here, as I do not know how this would intertwine with consistency.

7.75 kilotons seems to be fine and consistent.
