New size of seretei"

I would like to find the true size of seretei using a statement given to us my the manga source.


yoruichi a very knowledgeable character in bleach stated that it actually takes 10days walk from one gate in seretei to another,and there are four gates.
So assuming they would walk for 18h with 6h of rest.

>using average human walking speed which is 5km/h.

5km/h×10days×18h=900km in diameter, but seretei has a round shape and there are four gates round about,each takes 10days of walk to reach,so 900×4=3600km in circumference.

>now for those of you who would say why did I use 6 hours for rest,well characters in bleach has shown to have higher stamina than average humans,this statement comes from yoruichi who should be way stronger than uryu who could train for 10 days wi thout eating nor resting.

So to calc the distance 5 km/h x 3 days x 9 hours (night begins at 7:30 pm and day starts at 4:30 am)= 135 km,this is just to get to 7th division.

The Sereitei is very large, having several forests and mountainous regions. The problem with this is that the staff uses that scan from the outside, to try to disqualify using pxl, which would be unfounded.

Visuals in the series itself indicate that the Seireitei is a lot smaller than we've been lead to believe from the early series.

Leave Seireitei alone. It's current size by Raven is fine for now. Let the Novel finish at least.

The visuals vary though.

The visuals are just the author's failure to express what he actually put into his work. It has already become clear that Kubo has no talent for designing scenarios.

Could be that the author reckon the size, is not the first time Kubo change something in his series.

It always plays numbers, whether measured by "Ri" or numbers with days being used as the basis. He did with the King's Palace, Sereitei, Karakura Fake and Las Noches.

IIRC, the same calc was done like 2 months ago but wasn't accepted until Raven used 8 h/day instead of the 18 h/day. This gave a size of around 500 km in diameter, which was fortunately accepted.

Fun fact, if we use a supersonic travel speed for them (because those characters have at least supersonic speeds by the time of SS Arc), we can get a Seireitei bigger than Saturn in diameter.
