Regarding LDO regen/soul manipulation.

Hello. So, there's this question that's been gnawing at the back of my mind for some time now.

So, to my understanding after having read Dies Irae, LDO members can attack the souls of their targets, and don't have any need for their physical bodies (in other words, even if their bodies are completely destroyed, they're still "alive" in a sense as long as their souls are still intact). However, in each case where a LDO member falls, they don't come back, or at least, not on their own. In other words, once their physical bodies take enough damage (I'm thinking of Rusalka in Marie's route), they just... die.

So, I was hoping that someone knowledgeable could explain to me exactly how their regen/soul attacking works in the context of VS battles (in other words, if they touch you, do you just die if you have no resistance to soul manipulation? How fast does their regen work?). Furthermore, what do you have to do to actually put an LDO member down for good? Would someone like Reimu be able to exorcise their souls or something?

Thanks in advance.

that's because afaik they destroy soul and from what i remember relics have a poison to neg each others regen but that's alrfy who has it but that's iirc. If no soul resistence you will die yyes and simply destroy soul and body to kill them. And they are pretty tanky to each soul attack so there is that. Rusalka was dying because shirou stole her relic aka her very life which is a weird case but he usher it

Actually, they can regen pretty fast even when Relics poisons them.

But the pain is extremely strong.

How fast is "fast"? For example, let's just say that they're hit with an attack that destroys their body completely, leaving nothing behind. How fast can they come back from that?

Wilhelm instantly recovered from bring reduced to a pool of blood by True Briah restricted Schreiber before Schreiber could even land another attack, and Wolfie was at close range

And Schreiber's mere breath in this state can harm and potentially destroy weaker souls

Yeah, but that was when Wilhelm had HIS true Briah active. That doesn't scale to the other LDO members, right?

they all scale...only rea wouldn't ofc but everyone in their mother scales

also: õ╗«Òü½Þéëõ¢ôÒüîµÉìÕéÀÒâ╗µ¼áµÉìÒüùÒüªÒééÒÇüÚ¡éÒéÆþ│ºÒü½þ×¼µÖéÒü½ÕåìþöƒÒüÖÒéïÒüôÒü¿ÒüîÕÅ»Þâ¢ÒÇé

Even if their body is entirely damaged to complete destruction or just a part of theirs missing, they can instantly bring it back and as I said reason why they don't regen like that while fighting each other is because Holy Relics hinders Regenerationn capabilities due to the concepts that accumulates as a poison which inhibits Regenerationn so yeah....

Does that mean they can keep regenerating that way indefinitely, or is there a limit? Because from what I understand, LDO members need souls to regenerate. Does that not mean that once they run out of souls, they stop regenerating?
