Alright. Apologies for the wait, but below is the post concerning Tsuna and his somewhat controversial abilities. This thread has the goal of clearing up any discrepancies regarding his abilities and seeking to come to a consensus on how they work as a whole. Though, as will be shown momentarily, the verse is rather clear on how the vast majority of abilities work.
First, let's discuss the first technique of his own that Tsuna employed in a fight. The much talked about: Vongola Hyper Intuition.
Let's take a look at the first description of the ability, given to us by Reborn in chapter 79: It also releases limiters on his internal sense. In Tsuna's case, that would be the ability he displays sometimes to "see through" others, one which all of the Vongola Bloodline possess. It becomes a Hyper Intuition.'
This would certainly explain Tsuna's extrasensory perception, though not anyone else's. Regardless, Tsuna is capable of seeing through Mukuro's illusions, meaning his Hyper Intuition alone grants him resistance to perception manipulation. During this fight, against a MUCH more experience Mukuro (the guy has died six times to achieve his powers), Tsuna manages to devise a way to save his friends through hitting their nerve clusters as opposed to attacking them directly. He can sense that Mukuro is still alive when the latter has shot himself with a guy. And Mukuro blatantly says that Tsuna's battle sense has increased, suggesting that the Hyper Intuition has clear battle applications from the jump.
Even Xanxus, who has no actual blood of Vongola in his veins, was noted by Iemitsu to have extreme intuitio. This could of course, be Varia quality, but Xaxnus has always possessed better senses than the rest of his assassination squad.
More examples include the future arc, where Tsuna was not only able to identify the two different types of flames, but use his Intuition to come up with a powerful attack, one that surpasses his typical AP in order to finish off stronger, or more experience opponents.
In chapter 206, we are given concrete usage of Hyper Intuition. Tsuna is capable of reading the movements of his opponents because, unlike machines, humans have a certain degree of predictability that Tsuna can sense and see through. This gives credibility to Tsuna consistently defeating those stronger than him while not having a significant advantage in speed or AP. He is explicitly stated to be able to see through the movements of his opponents, giving rise to a limited form of precognition, or just a really good battle sense in general, like Mukuro stated two arcs previous.
In chapter 213 there is another instance of this where Tsuna can see through Genkishi's illusions. Once again, seeing through attacks, as well as a much higher level of illusions.
The Hyper Intuition also seems to grant some sort of clairvoyance, as there have been numerous occasions where Tsuna has seen the plight of his friends, or some imagery of the past, yet he was not physically present. It would, of course, be limited due to practically nonexistence of this in the last two arcs (which is where the verse gets somewhat shaken up imo), but it's still present nonetheless.
General conclusions are that Vongola Intuition provides Tsuna with a greatly increased battle sense to the point of having a limited form of precognition, as his danger sense is rather limited. In addition, the Vongola's Hyper Intuition goes so far as to make him legitimately more intelligent. As he can create new attacks, deduce complex strategies that work on far more experience opponents, and is constantly coming up with ways to defeat opponents even hundreds of times older than he is in the case of the Vindice.
Once again, I'd invite you to look at my blog to see the work that has been done there, as everything listed here is there. And I'd invite you to my message wall to see the work that YungMazi has done.
