Both used the same method to find AP, and landed really close to eachother.

I actually no clue where Ryona comes from, but eh, this seems fun.

Speed is Equalized.

Ryona actually has a great amount of expirience fighting, especially by comparison to Mei.

Add on that she's casually 4 Tons while Mei is 2.9 and she should take this.
 
That's how this match would go if they were bloodlusted.

Since they're not, though, Ryona stands there letting Mei freeze her like the enormous ********* she is and by the time she realizes "oh shit this might kill me" it may be too late.
 
I say ''may'' be too late because there have been times when she's wised up before her masochism leads to her defeat but there have also been times when she straight up takes an L cuz she can't get ahold of herself

Well now that I'm thinking about it, every time she could have legitimately died if she hadn't gotten it together she's been able to pull it off. Thus why she's not dead yet in her series.

That being said, Mei will be able to get some free hits in.
 
But Ryona can afford to take those extra hits since she has higher durability.

Yeah, now that I think about it, she's masochistic but she's not suicidal. Once she realizes she's being frozen she'll be able to Burst Attack out of it and use one of her Ninja Arts, which, given their AoE and higher AP should allow her to get the win.

So, sorry for this back and forth, but I'll actually vote for the *********.

But how does she not die to having her spine snapped by her rack and being made immobile

I don't really just want to nope out of s thread I joined, so I'll look more in to this later.
 
They're still the size of her torso tho

I will give a legit revision of my reasoning in a few minutes.
 
I mean, letting Mei get free hits in equates to being frozen and getting several icicles fired at your head. Mei can also play defensive pretty well, and when she can start off the battle with an advantage, it makes it more likely that she can turtle out the rest.

Pretty sure that Mei's icicles can one shot herself. She's about 75% as strong, so one free hit is still very impactful, 2 being better. Her self freeze also amps durability while hesling her, so she can deal with the AP advantage through that. Don't count me as voting yet though.
 
Add vote manipulation to her file
 
Mei's durability isn't tier 10, and she doesn't need to freeze you to shoot an icicle into your skull. If she gets that off for free Ryona's at an early disadvantage. Is she likely to use the thing that sacrifices durability for more AP?
 
I'm honestly thinking Mei takes it due to that free hit. Being hurt that badly in one go, even if her dirability is a bit higher, is pretty bad. She's in pain, won't focus as well, will move slower, will likely lose a levelheaded emotional state and suffer the consequences of that like poor descision making, and of course is closer to dying. Mei on the other hand can keep shooting as normal, wall off Ryona's escape, and heal herself whereas once Ryona gets hit she's only getting worse between blood loss and possible frostbite/cell damage.
 
Also if Mei hits an eye she's now lost the usage of that eye, so there's that.
 
Who says Mei goes for the icicle first? If she tries to freeze first then Ryona realizes what's happening and breaks out of it with a Burst Attack-- something that can be done to escape being frozen in SK-- then proceeds to AoE Mei to death.

Even if she goes with the icicle first, Ryona couldn't give two ***** about pain. Hell she enjoys it, but she's not quite dumb enough to let Mei kill her.
 
I am saying she does, as It makes more sense. It's longer ranged than the freeze and sba starts them at the cap of their ranges.

Being slower isn't really due to pain, that's more of an involuntary thing. The amount of force imparted is enough to disorient regardless. Her AP is around 1.25x, not enough for her to quickly kill mei when she has her durability amp+heal as well as walls to keep her projectiles away. Hell, withbproper wall placement mei canme can catch her in her own AOE.

I have a suggestion for another SK calc, but this is for Katsuragi this time.

Honestly I'm going to have to give this to Mei due to the fact that giving Mei free hits is never a good idea. Trust me I know I mained Mei it's alright fam.

According to some overwatch players I am satan for doing that.

Unless she doesn't tilt as many people now.

The icicle can't even one shot people on her own verse even if it's a head shot let alone someone who's twice as durable as a tank in Overwatch
 
So if she gets a free hit using the freeze Ray, Ryona bursts out and hits her with AoE fire+ice attacks.

If she gets a free hit with the icicle Ryona is disoriented, sure, but not to the point she can't hold down her triggers.
 
I'm seeing the argument moreso for Ryona than Mei. The main argument for Mei is that Ryona lets herself get hit, and that was made by the people currently going on her side. Based on that and other factors Ryona is making more sense for now.
