Funnily enough Freddy has a perfect record in VSBW. To be fair he's only fought Bambi (At least that's the only fight that's been added) so it's not that impressive, but still.

Thunder's gonna target the Bear, not the soul.

And if he destroys the bear, all that happens is that the soul comes out, like in the FNAF 3 minigames. So, yeah, Freddy will survive, even if his body gets destroyed.
