Yeah, I mean, literally any Yu-Gi-Oh Monster with a quick-null effect would be able to deal with Thunder.
 
So should we just stop making McQueen matches then (I am for this)? Its either inconclusive or a stomp so why bother?

I mean, Thunder's main gig gets nulled and can't really fight back.
 
Thunder is a huge one-trick pony:

He has one potent ability, and it's effective when it's pulled off... However, if it gets countered/nulled, he's done for.

Also, wouldn't Clear Wing be comparable to Blue Eyes White Dragon who is 5-A, due to being able to beat it as Crystal Wing due to its Power Amplification effect when battling Level 5 or higher monsters?
 
Clear Wing specifically gets amped by the monster its fighting for that fight only, it doesn't retain that power all the time.

well okay....but that aside, this thread is basically a STOMP, because Clear Wing is 9-A while McQueen is 9-C. Since McQueen's ability would be treated as a monster effect, Clear Wing can definitely negate it. If this is not gonna be called a stomp, then I'll cast my vote both FRA and my own statement.
