I was waiting for this moment...

7-A Soul Society Arc Ichigo is used.

Speed is equalized.

Starting range is 100 meters.

K.O. via death.

Fight!

Nero 02
Dangaichigo

Nero - 7

Ichigo - 1

Inconclusive - 3

Ichigo has expirience, AP and versatility but Nero can amp his AP with Devil Trigger

Until I get some evidence saying Ichigo won't get instakilled upon Nero using Yamato, my vote is on him.

Does the 262 really have anything else going for him...

Are we even sure Yamato actually negates dura though?

They say it cuts through anything, but not only is that NLF but I'm pretty sure the series knows it, considering Dante can block it, Lady can block it... Literally anyone Virgil's fought in general can block it, Dante had to shoot it's hilt with like 5 bullets for it to actually pierce a weakened Savior's hull to get to Nero... It's just really stinking questionable.

But, eh, whataver.

Nero does show some semblance of swordsmanship in game, but Ichigo on the other hand is able to put up a fight with Byakuya, a Soul Reaper with Thousands of years under his belt and an extremely unblockable Bankai, maybe not in the way Yamoto is, but still unblockable. And, he was able to deal with it for awhile until he released his own Bankai, so...

AP, better swordsmanship, Yamoto being extremely questionable, Ichinose wins.

Dante is legit the only guy Vergil was shown to actually fight, and Rebellion is resistant to Spatial Manipulation.

Yea, but Vergil isn't the only one to use Yamato. Have either Nero or Dante displayed the ability to ignore durability with yamato?

Bruh Dante resists Spatial manipulation....

And he ignored Arkham's arm and slashed him perfectly despite Arkhangelsk being physically stronger

And so is Lady's rocket launcher, Weakened Savior's skin, and Dante himself?

... The path of least assumptions seems to be that it's just not really good at it's job instead of literally everything it's clashed with save for a random Hellgate which Dante could have easily just used overwhelming AP with resisting.

....Yes Dante himself is resistant to Spatial manipulation as I legit already said.

Actually, Savior got cut perfectly fine last I checked

There's also Arkham and the priest and Nero where it shows ignoring Durability

Dante actually struggles to put this Durability negating object in then has to fall back and open fire on it's hilt.

Well, until Nero uses Devil Trigger, he perfers going for his Motorsword anyways, so

They're low ends but they also exist along with the showings of Virgil actually doing stuff with it

Either way, Ichigo doesn't need it to not work to win.

So do showings of Cole not blocking bullets

Low ends are discounted Period. You know that

There's a difference between authors failing math class and something that can cut through anything barely cutting anything of any importance.

I did this match a real long time ago, before both got upgraded.

Anyway Ichigo does have a good advantage thanks to his AP but Yamato's durability negation can even that out if he uses his Devil Trigger which is likely once the first collision happens and Ichigo starts overwhelming him in strength.

I vote Inconclusive. Either Ichigo gets a good shot in at the beginning by surprising Nero with his strength or Nero survives and instantly goes Devil Trigger and gets amped along with space cutting.

I'm voting Ichigo for DMUA's reasons.

DMUA's vote is based on Yamato not managing to ignore Ichigo's durability, which was debunked by Gargoyle. And Nero can pretty much one-shot, if his sword comes in contact with Ichigo. Are you sure about your vote?

Does the weapon itself negate dura, or does it depend on the user? If it is the former than I'll change to Nero, but the only debunking that occurred was Dante doing harm to a stronger character, unless I'm misunderstanding.

I'll believe you, not knowledgeable on either verse. Then I'd vote Nero due to durability negation.

In DMC4 we can see Nero beginning his fights with Yamato against valuable opponents, it is in his character to start with it

Does Ichigo have his Regen in this Key ? If not, my vote is on Nero
