The two fringe webcomics Apies and I read, I don't expect many votes but oh well, lol

These characters are actually surprisingly similar from a personality/character arc perspective. I do want to also note that Isaac should probably be able to hit Antimony with Spectral energy and block her hits with it, as she kind of fits the M.O. of a spectral as someone who can interact with ghosts and manipulate a non-physical energy.

Speed is equalized.

Isaac - 1 (Apies)

Antimony -

Incon -

Annie 2

Alright, so I'm conflicted on a few points here. First is, Antimony might be signifigantly stronger, at least AP wise, then Isaac. Her fire can damage Ysengrin who is, if not the strongest, then one of the most powerful non-god characters in the series. This leads me into my second point though, Annie's not a fighter. She has power but not quite as much skill.

Hmmm, I'm leaning towards Isaac for the skill advantage, but it's really close.

EDIT: Hey Dar. What chapter you up to? I have a Spender x Court match in mind, but it'd be kinda spoilery.

EDIT2: Been doing some reading to finish some pages and remembered Annie carries around a becon-thing that can summon Eglamore, who should be around 9-A also. To be fair, Eglamore's max damage output would be lower then Annies, but he would far outpace Isaac in trems of skill.

There's still the issue of Isaac using Spirit Trance, although he's far less likely to pull it out compared to someone like Spender, who tends to abuse it.

Isaac can use Spectral energy to form forcefeilds to defend from attacks, although getting outskilled is something that tends to put him out of commission.

Yeah Spirit Trance is gonna be a problem for Annie. If she did summon Eglamore, then she'd probably buff him with a fire sword and then stand back. Without Eglamore, then she'll throw fire and cover herself in flames. Ugh, guess I gotta make Eglamore's page now.

Hey Dar, did either of my messages show up? They just kinda disapeared when I published them. Incase they didn't, I made this.

Haven't got anything from you on my message wall lately. Might want to try again.

Isaac can also cause rainclouds and some pretty decent downpours of water to get past a fire cover. How would Eglamore react to that?

I got tired of Thunder McQueen threads weeks ago, but if you end up posting any other Gunnerkrigg matches message me and I'll vote.

Yeah, I get that. McQueen matches tend to be boring and predictable. I was hoping Renard's Possession might make it interesting, but I totally understand if you'd rather avoid it.

As for the fight, Fire can stay lit under water with the right conditions, but I'm unsure if Annie could manage that. If Isaac did put out Annie's fire, that wouldn't really stop Eglamore from fighting. I mean, it's just a damage boost.

Alright, let me try and summerize this for myself. Without Eglamore, Isaac probably wins. He has the skill advantage and is campairable damage wise. Even if she does summon Eglamore, Isaac has five seconds before he shows up. If Eglamore does show up, Isaac should be able to even out the skill difference with Spirit Trance. At that point all Isaac has to do is take out Annie for an actual win.

I guess I could give this to Isaac, but it's really close. If Annie had any real combat training it would be a different story.
