Homer speed revision?

O'k, so Homer is listed as Peak Human speed, which sounds reasonable, but what happens when you factor in moments like this?

Why don't you get something from our food truck?
Why don't you get something from our food truck?

This should at least make him subsonic since he moved so fast he was a blur, or would this be seen as an outlier?

The whole Verse needs some major revisions, especially in durability, so I agree with using the feat.

Not sure if what speed is this tho.

He's moving so fast he's a blur, which could possibly be faster than the human eye, which according to the speed page should fall under subsonic.

I think that this seems like an outlier.

Only if he has other feats around that level or higher, which he surely has but find them would be a pain.

Not for now. Someone can likely find durability feats more easily, so that's something.

IIRC in season 1 ch. 6 when he attempted to suicide himself he ran with a boulder hanging from his body in order to save his family from being crashed by a vehicle. That's LS and speed feat considering he initially had a bad time walking while lifting said boulder. That'd apply to a full of adrenaline Homer atm.

Well, running alongside a car moving at regular driving speed might be useful to scale from.

Maybe "At least Superhuman" would be safer, if we do not know if the car was going at full speed?

It's implied it was. Maude yelled Ned to accelerate but he said he can't so he was indeed at full speed.

It was more likely that he did not want to break the speed limit in a populated neighbourhood. The car did not seem to go all that fast going by the clip itself.

Or what did he exactly say in reply to Maude after "I can't"? It was hard for me to hear.

In any case "At least Superhuman (Caught up with Ned Flanders' car by running)" seems safer.

IDK exactly. I'm not a native english speaker and it's hard to me aswell. At least in the spanish dub he answered that he can't cause the car won't go any faster.

But yes, l agree with you.

Okay. Feel free to change his speed to "At least Superhuman" then.
