Greetings to all community members.
As probably everyone in the VS community knows, Dragon Ball is quite likely the most controversial franchise when it comes to indexing statistics. Opinions range from Planet level to Multiverse level, which is a fair indicator of just how wildly different people's opinions regarding the franchise's power levels are. It is also a very fair indicator that no matter what one does, there will always be people unhappy with the final verdict.
Regardless, there are multiple issues which continue to linger, and I would like to settle them for once and for all. If there is anyone dissatisfied with the current statistics, or anyone who would thinks the currently listed statistics are accurate, please buckle up, because there are going to be multiple long and exhaustive debates in order to settle the stats for a while.
I would like to mention, that the present revision will entail the canon Dragon Ball ratings, and will be determined via primary and secondary Dragon Ball canon material only.
Primary canon:
The issues which need to be discussed:
Do remember, while everyone will keep an open mind regarding the statistics, irrational fanboyism will also get you banned, eg: Buu being Multiversal.
Lastly, this thread is merely to inform the community regarding the upcoming changes. The issues will be discussed in separate threads, which will be created soon enough (today, few hours later).
I repeat, there will be no discussion related to the listed issues on this thread. On this thread, only discuss if there are any additional issues which need to be resolved.

I would like to mention, that the present revision will entail the canon Dragon Ball ratings, and will be determined via primary and secondary Dragon Ball canon material only.
Primary canon:
- Dragon Ball manga
- Dragon Ball Super (anime)
- Dragon Ball Kai (if it doesn't contradict the manga)
- Dragon Ball guide books
- Dragon Ball Z (anime)
- Dragon Ball Super (manga)
- Dragon Ball GT
- Dragon Ball movies (including BoG and RoF, as they are being overwritten by Super)
- Dragon Ball Shin Budokai
- Dragon Ball XenoVerse
The issues which need to be discussed:
- Size of the Dragon Ball universe
- We will wait for more information from Super before solidifying the size of the Dragon Ball multiverse, but an extrapolation will suffice for now.
- Base Goku's speed during Namek saga
- Cell being a Solar System buster
- Buu's galaxy busting feat
- Beerus' (and by extension, Goku's) strength, based on feats in the Beerus arc of Dragon Ball Super
- We will wait for more information from Super before solidifying Whis' stats, but an extrapolation will suffice for now.
Do remember, while everyone will keep an open mind regarding the statistics, irrational fanboyism will also get you banned, eg: Buu being Multiversal.
