Darkseid vs Dormammu

I give it to Darkseid, Dormammu only has reality warping in his own dimension, Omega Beams should kill Dormammu and Darkseid generally leads with them, he also seems to have a higher AP. Dormammu's powers also vastly weaken when he's outside the Dark Dimension.

Low Godly tanks pretty much anything Darkseid does except for Omega Beams which are dodgeable anyway, and he has multiple ways to kill Darkseid.

Dormammus reality warping is limited to his own realm. His warping abilities however usable outside his realm such as matter-dream-fire-energy and soul manipulation, while incredible powerful, can't do much against high tier Darkseid.
His absorbtion ability against energy can defend him maybe a while but i'm not sure that it is able to absorb the omega effect over time going by the fact that Darkseid can drain all sorts of godly beeings with it and has durability negation plus void manipulation.
Also it's kinda Darkseids thing to outsmart other super intelligent opponents, such a Brainiac for example. Don't see Dormammu doing that often. In fact he is mostly relying on his raw power and arrogance and is the one mostly to be outsmarted in the end (by Strange and others).
Darkseids space time manipulation can weaken Dormammu even further. Dormammu can counteract it with time travel but at cost of his stamina.
For Dormammu to unleash his full power effectivly and counteract any of Darkseids moves he had to drag him somehow in his own dimension. Even when an Avatar of Darkseid does that it would not kill him. Only when Dormammu is able to either extract Darkseid from the entirety of the multiverse or Dormammu dragging the entire dc multiverse into it would make him able to match any of Darkseids high tier powers.

Darkseid takes it. First of all he's at least 2C, likely 2A. Dormammu is just normal 2C. I'm not convinced dodging Omega Beams would be so easy for Dormammu, and Darkseid could always choose to use AoE anyway if the beams don't work. If he uses Omega Sanction it's over. Darkseid also has the edge in intelligence, he's played chess with a Monitor and created eons-spanning schemes. Dormammu honestly isn't all that intelligent.

Just an FYI for this thread, the fact that Darkseid is "likely 2-A" doesn't matter for this fight. For this he isn't 2-A and there is no way that he could get close to 2-A without being 2-A. That said, he can destroy 52 universes while mortally wounded, so he still has the AP advantage.
