If Itachi can resist Kotoamatsukami, he wins easily. If he can't, Shishui one shots

Although going by how Shishui got stomped by Danzo I doubt he can beat Itachi. Shishui got good hype but his personal feats are terrible

Shisui has the hype but Itachi got the showings. Now obviously Shisui knows Itachi so he will go for that genjutsu move (I don't know what it's called) but this goes for Itachi as well. He will know Shisui will go for that technique and would likely create a clone and have it get caught in it.

I'm not sure but I'll go for Itachi right now.
 
As far as I remember, Shisui was actually the one doing the stomping. Danzo only got him after he used Izanagi, which caught Shisui off guard because obviously, the guy isn't an Uchiha.

Although it's true that it's mostly hype, he was said to be the best Uchiha of his time at a time that Itachi was around and he also used to defeat Itachi all the time in training, so it should mean something at least. If anything, they should know all of each other's tricks like Izanagi, complex shuriken tactics, leaving behind clones, dispersing into crows etc. And Shisui's afterimages can actually inflict legitimate damage, instead of being normal mirages.

Shisui was also said to be the best at genjutsu (I think?). This part is hard, because Itachi since gained the Mangekyō which means much better genjutsu and of course, the infamous Tsukuyomi. But Shisui also has the Mangekyō and Kotoamatsukami is portrayed to be superior, but Itachi has knowledge of it. I dunno how this part would go.

I go for inconclusive, because I think it's hard to tell. If Shisui was resurrected, he'd probably have fought Itachi, and we'd know or at least, have a good idea about how this fight would go.

You make a good argument, it's basically the fact (like several strong Naruto characters) the hype is what we mostly get. So it's hard to really know, I believe they said Shisui was the best but I don't know.
 
I think Itachi might win this. Since Itachi knows about the Kotoamatsukami, he will just not meet Eyes with Shisui and Amaterasu does not Require Eye contact to work, just to look at Shisuis Body.

Judging from Experience and Showings, Itachi should be more skilled, more powerful, more everything. Not to mention that, unlike Shisui, he has the actual knowledge of Shisuis full skillset and abilitys, while Shisui has not. In fact, Shisui has not fought Itachi for nearly a Decade after his Death, so anohter massive advantage for Itachi.
 
are they the same age? cuz the difference between an itachi who at his prime that can kinda handle kcm Naruto, to an itachi who is just under anbu lvl as a 12-13 year old is ******* huge. like, say we have prime itachi, he stomps, but say we have an itachi the same age as shisui when he died, then he still wins, since he was close to that same shusui in power while two years younger (and 2 years of training is lot. look at ******* Naruto from the last, or vote sasuke to shippuden sasuke)
 
Shisui got solo'd by Danzo. Both have Susanoo, but Itachi's is superior with Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror. Shisui has Kotoamatsukami, and Itachi has that, Tsukuyomi, and Amaterasu.

Itachi has much better showings than Shisui in general and more versatile. All you need to say is Itachi has more versatility, better intelligence, and is superior on every other account.

Itachi also has superior Genjutsu range, so he can catch Shisui faster than Shisui can catch him.

Shisui Wins via Kotoamatsukami(it does not require eye contact, Shisui can use it on anyone within his field of view).

I'm assuming this is the Itachi who fought Sasuke( he doesn't have Koto and is sick)
 
Shisui does have Kotoamatsukami, so he beats Itachi and ANYONE who doesn't blitz him by default (unless the characters have resisted high level shit before).

Itachi is potrayed as the superior fighter between the two. Even with koto in charcter its not what he starts out with he likely loses as seen with Shishi v Danzo
 
yeah but winning with koto in this case is like saying that shinigami academy aizen with his shikai can beat vizard shinji. see my point?
 
Rinnegan users resist Koto?! Didn't know that, and even then, that count in my exceptions... And isn't the reason why he didn't use Koto because of already using it once? Or maybe he was trying to save it? Either way, it's use is still something that would be counted-- as worst case scenario, he breaks it out as a last resort, best case scenario he uses it for fear of itachi's hax. Though he might not know what Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu...?
 
@Lor Genjutsu is a little different from KS. The power of koto is just as potent from shisui and itachi using it. Seemigly by kabuto statements.

@Amexim Nah he just coudnt use it before Danzo took it for him as it was kinda suprise attack.
 
Itachi literally has Kotoamatsukami in his crow. All Shisui has is the other Kotoamatsukami.
 
That's a perplexing thing— because peak Itachi fits have Shisui's sharingan if he has all tools, but Shisui is alive now, so...
 
Doesn't matter that he's alive. Itachi wouldn't even have his MS with Alive Shisui.
 
Sure, murdering his own Mother and torturing the most important person in his life would surely not awaken his MS.
 
Do you know the Naruto timeline or not? Shisui wasn't even alive when Itachi killed everyone. I was using his logic 'oh he's alive so would Itachi even have the crow' and it's like ''if Shisui was alive he'd just use Kotoamatsukami on the Uchiha Clan and Itachi wouldn't get his MS.''
 
He'd pushed the TImeline back a bit at best. The Reason for the Revolution still remained, just mindcontrolling a couple of people would never have prevented it completely. And that would just be forgetting about Obito. Killing the Uchiha was an important part of his plan.
 
There's also the fact that the method by which Itachi gained the MS isn't explained either, but if we're to assume they are at their peak, then that means MS, and with all their equipment/techniques available, including Kotoamatsukami for both of them. Treat this as a strange kind of Dragon Ball Heroes/Xenoverse battle where timelines have merged and allowed an Itachi to have a Kotoamatsukami Crow and Shisui to... Still exist and somehow not be a hokage.
 
I'm going with shisui on this one because he can just spam body flicker till Itachi is open then kotoamatsukami gg
 
Another thing shusui and itachi did 1v1 as training together and shusui always bested Itachi when they fought
 
This is both of them in their absolute Prime, but Itachi is restricted from using Susano'o
 
absolute prime itachi with only ms was already above cm lvl 2 sasuke with orochi absorbed, which about equaled four tails Naruto. do u actually think that shisui can beat 4 tails Naruto?
 
People who're voting for Shisui, did you forget Itachi became much stronger after Shisui's death? Shisui getting stomped by Danzo is a fact, Itachi was also caught offguard by Orochimaru yet nothing happened. All Shisui has for him is Kotoamatsukami, there not on the same level otherwise.
