hit vs viewtiful joe

His ability is to slow down or accelerate time, and it runs on VFX. He is easy to take off guard, which, as shown by goku, is very good for hit. Hit has insane martial arts skill. I'm not sure how fast hit is, so i won't comment on that.

Hit wins.

Hit, due to better time hax. Viewtiful Joe's Time Manip. requires him to have built up to it by pulling off "stylish" (or, in the world of martial arts, "flashy/useless") moves--which, he simply isn't going to do against Hit. Hit is a no-nonsense assassin who strikes for the vitals first, using Time-Skip from the start; Viewtiful Joe gets killed early on in this one, unable to pull off any his flashy moves to access his own time manipulation to battle Hit's.

One has got time stop and the other has got time manipulation. Whoever goes first takes the win. Since Hit is a serious assassin and doesn't play around, he is more than likely to use his time stop first. It's also in his character as he abuses that throughout the show.

Joe's time manipulation has restrictions, though.

Hit for reasons above

Isn't the whole "make flashy poses" just a game mechanic? I'm fairly certain that in many of the cutscenes, Joe was simply able to use his power without having to do such. And cutscenes >>> than actual gameplay.

Also, to the OP, the grace period has not passed yet, so while this is still unanimous, I don't think that it should have been posted in the official addition thread just yet, as 24 hours has not passed since the conclusion.

Not arguing against the verdict here, just thought it would be worth pointing out a few things.

I think it's more that Hit's time manipulation is more effective than Joe's as Hit essentially has his own set of time to manipulate. If Joe could slow down Hit's time, then he would stand more of a chance. I suppose it doesn't make too much of a difference here though.

I remember another thread where someone said the same thing, but it was shot down as an expert in the currently losing series hadn't arrived to defend their verse yet. I thought that was the point of the grace period.

looks like hitto san got 7 votes

i don't know if i should count assaultwaffle's vote or not
