Ichibe should have power modification with Shirafude Ichimonji

Power Modification is defined as: the ability to alter, interfere with, or modify other powers. Differing from Power Nullification or Statistics Amplification, Power Modification is able to change the function of an ability in some shape or form, such as turning superhuman strength into superhuman speed. It should be noted that users must be able to interfere with the nature of the ability itself for this to be listed in their profile.

Ichibe gets this via being able to directly change someone’s powers by changing their name

Yhwach in his almighty key should get a limited resistance to this ability for the same reason he has a limited resistance to conceptual manipulation, Ichibe could not affect the almighty with Shirafude Ichimonji

Proposals:

Ichibe Gets: Power Modification (By changing one’s name, Shirafude Ichimonji can change your power into whatever he changes your name into. For example, Shirafude Ichimonji can change your name into “Black Ant” and all of your powers will be comparable to a black ant)

Yhwach Gets: Limited Resistance to Conceptual Manipulation and Power Modification (Type 2. Ichibē couldn't take the Almighty from him even after he has stripped Yhwach of his name and power and change his name and power into black ant)

I think yhwach literally gained immunity to Ichibe hax. He clearly not even affected by Ichibe abilities when his almighty awakened.
 
He can alter a person's power level but he can't change specific abilities. I'm not sure if that qualifies.
 
That’s Ichibei’s Bankai power. IIRC one of the novels says something about Ichibei been able to give powers. Someone else remembers the chapter?
 
As for Yhwach, either Ichibei’s power can’t affect the Soul King, or the Soul King fragments have resistance to Ichibei’s power. Ikkimikidomoe removed Ichibei’s ink, like Yhwach, after eating a piece of the Soul King.

iirc it was more like, Yhwach's Almighty was able to neg and resist all of Ichibe's abilities. If memory serves, Ichibe stated that his ability stripped Yhwach of everything and left him merely with the abilities and power of a black ant.

Why are they changing it from conceptual manipulation?

Isn't that has to do with Reiatsu. Also Ichibe after war Arc gotten weaker. You remember Ichibe saying Ichigo that he needs time to regain his full power.
 
I don't see it as power modification. He didn't change Yhwach's powers, he simply reduced Yhwach statistics to that of a black ant. He didn't change Yhwach's Strength into Speed, he simply reduced his statistics to that of something else. Power Modification is if he turned The Almighty's abilities into a different ability. Simply stripping Yhwach of his abilities and making as weak as an ant isn't power modification.

That is his Shikai's power with the brush touching you and remove them completly to 0 with the ink. In his base form he cut stats in half. His bankai is different.

sealed form reduces power and abilities by half

shikai erases all their power and abilities

bankai give the power and stats of whatever he gives u a name of

If we use the interpretation that Ichibei's bankai doesn't change power but stats that would make Ichibei's shikai and bankai the same power. That contradicts the lore of Ichibei naming everything in Soul Society, including all Zanpakutous to know their true name and give that new power to Renji's incomplete bankai.
