Energy manip - yes (I don't even think we need to bring up CC for this given what is in Alrest)
Crystal manip - not really. Because correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Klaus mention the Core Crystals are made out of something different (despite the naming convention, I know)? Or is this upscaling from Blades like Agate?
