Okay, so here's the deal. See this?:

So the braindead idiot here took a fountain firework to the face after looking directly into it AFTER IGNITING IT and got roasted by it. However, despite that, she's relatively unharmed (albeit in pain) even though I'm pretty sure your face would've been burnt off if you did the same thing. Would that count as Fire Resistance?

Yeah, as long as they don't get severe burns from it or any long-lasting damage it should be fine.
